Stop With The Clickbait BS...Write What You Think Or Save The Space For Someone Who Has Something To Say
We are seeing more and more of the clickbait nonsense where someone simply posts an article without having anything to say about what they think about it, if they have something to say I'm inclined to read what the source they came up with it from said so I can fact check it if it's intriguing.
So please people, if you can't be bothered to spend a few minutes telling people what you think about what you are seeing, don't bother.
I guess we could call these NTS topics, Nothing To Say

BIRDMAM, the only things I don't back up are things that are so ridiculously mainstream that I don't care about people that are too stupid not to already know it, or that won't check it.

Generally speaking when someone posts an article or provides a hot link to one without an introduction or commentary, it is an indication the poster is getting a second opinion on his position on issues, as in enhancing his argument, clarifying a point, or simply providing food for thought. It isn't some sort of internet trickery.
It's a simple matter to click a link, read the article (like get it from the horse's mouth),
then, if the article is "intriguing", one can run a fact check.
How often do we see hot links to rawstory or Yahoo posted in an effort to beef up an argument?

Thanks, whether we agree with what someone is trying to say or not, I'm more interested in hearing people's thoughts on the things they see, then maybe taking a look at where they got it.

I say my piece in terms of what I'm thinking, then try to show what got me thinking about it...and often I have looked at other sources, but have an awareness that many sources are not accessible so I try to choose one that is saying the same things, RS typically gets the pertinent facts right, editorial bias can be ignored past that.

Yep. I don’t need this site just to look up reading material.

Some people do things differently...
Are you going to report them to Admin if they don't do it the way you want?

Providing education and information is a good thing - especially to you. Typically, the title will tell you what the article is about.

I read EVERY article in its entirety before I post it. If I don't agree with it I don't post it. Therefore I agree with every article I post and it is a summation of my opinion in a much better way that I could ever provide. I can't help it if you've been so dumbed-down that you have the attention span of a gnat and can't concentrate on what I post. No one says you are forced to read it numbnuts.
