While support for trump is in the mid 70's, the thing that polls at 80% is that this high number of people believe that national security is a huge problem...they simply don't seem to care about trump's breaches, but sloppy handling of national secrets is of concern...

Which indicates a massive disconnect from reality.

Innocent until proven guilty without a reasonable doubt.

Perhaps you should focus on the 2024 Democrat Party candidate. There’s plenty of improvement to be had there; especially considering how low the bar is now.

The disconnect happened in 2020

I believe that you are correct about National Security. That is one reason we need to get this old man in the WH out as soon as possible. He has sold this country out by receiving bribes. His illegal handling of Classified Information is FAR more worse considering that none of the documents were stored in secure places. Being that the documents were in a closet a short distance from the Chinese delegation offices and of course available to H****r as was the ones in the garage I would bet there were many people reading those. Most likely they were used by H****r to manipulate the Chinese in his business ventures. Just a side note for you. Ol’ Joe is keeping the money flowing to Ukraine because they most likely have positive proof of Biden Crime family misdeeds in Ukraine. I bet Putin would love to get ahold of that. Don’t you feel really stupid backing the ol’ man and as far as that goes the whole Democrat Party. If you don’t you’re more ignorant than I thought.

Actually it very much happened in 2008 when Obama took office, supported by the fact that republicans kicked a different kind of style of governing into play...marked by a complete distancing from democrats in terms of working with each other. I know, politics will make people say no it was dems that started it, but no, republicans literally stopped working on policies and adopted a full on strategy of being all about opposition and blocking anything dems tried to do, regardless of whether it was good for the country ort not.

McConnell said it, his and republicans job was to keep Obama as a one term president, and they went full on into that goal.

That created a different disconnect with the way republicans represented everything they were doing as far as blocking and opposition, their messaging had to do with the spins on what and why they were blocking good things. It changed the narrative from talking about issued to focusing on irrelevant rhetoric and lies. Republicans have been better at messaging their rhetoric than dems were at messaging facts.

In your belief that there was a far worse that is simply not true, you would never begin to entertain the possibility that trump was the security breach, he was the one that would be likely to show things to people that had no business seeing them, not that trump had any reason to have much of what he did.

Because he could is not an answer for why he would want dangerous intelligence or military strategies or informant assets.

You cannot begin to believe that Biden is a risk without putting trump in that category as well, if you can't you are hopelessly c*********d in terms of objectivity.

If trump had access to it Putin does have it, period.

Meanwhile while your panties are in a bunch about the Biden crime family and his millions of dollars in fraud, trump withheld hundreds of millions trying to extort Zelensky into saying what he wanted him to say...pertaining to Burisma and Biden.

If you don't feel really ridiculous backing trump you have nothing to say about anyone who backed a real president and ended the ridiculousness that was trump and everything he stood for.

There's only one thing you get reported for, and it's not that hard to figure out, it's the names not the insults.

If you have the intelligence to figure out what the names are you can't call people nobody will be reporting you will they?

Fact of the matter is, if a statute reads in clear terms exactly what you have already been seen in public admitting, or evidence such as documents you committed to a sworn statement by attorneys that you had returned all documents they were asking for and then it turns out you still have more than you turned over...you are guilty and there isn't anything to say about that.

If in the end after a trial, if he gets off on technicalities involving a hopelessly biased judge or jurist that refuses to acknowledge guilt I will honor that decision...

But for purposes of discussion it's fair game to discuss the evidence we can see, and the things we know he did. Not to mention his own counsel that tried to tell him to do what Pence and Biden did, which ended the issues right there.

I wish the Republicans would have done their job better. This country would be in much better shape.
The cities of NY, Chicago, DC, LA and the the whole West coast show you what the Democrats do when they get their one party rule. All of these places are on the verge of ruin.

You left out your President he stole Classified Documents and he had no right to remove them from from the provided reading rooms.
Also he had them for YEARS and didn’t even keep them secure.
