This is why we need more IRS Agents:

company income tax rate
Amazon 78 billion 5.1%
Bank of America 108 billion 3.8%
FedEx 11 billion 1.5%
Honneywell 14 billion 5.9%
Verizon 88 billion 8.4%.
Most Anericans are not paying these rates. Don't you think these companies should be paying much more?

That is useless information you posted. If it is even correct, I do not care, more IRS agents will not change those numbers. The IRS already has the agents to audit those companies who are only using existing tax law to make those numbers. The law would have to be changed for those numbers to change.

You are so brain locked on your Socialist, h**e big corporations mindset that you are blind to reality. Those extra IRS agents were always meant to go after small business and working people. Just continue to lie to yourself.

I beg to differ a little bit. They were also intended to go after wealthy Republican donors. Democrat donors will get the same justice that H****r got.

In fact, which ever guy gets into the White House, Ron or Donald, I will drop them an e-mail suggesting the money saved from the IRS layoffs be used to hire more Social Security personnel. I am pretty sure they will be more than pleased to accommodate me. They both send me letters all of the time telling I am their number one supporter.

I know they only send those letters to me.

LOL! I would never disagree with such a wise and learned friend! You are number one in MY book, as well as theirs.

I get a lot of messages from wonderful folks telling my fragile ego what a great guy they believe I am. You are the only one not hitting me up for money. Good thing to, because I just checked my savings account and this month's Social Security payment isn't here yet. Neither are my microscopic pension payments either. Alas I am broke.

I wonder how popular I would be if it ever got out that I really am not as wealthy as my many friends believe me to be. Don't tell anyone. Please. I used to be friendless. Then I send a couple of bucks to somebody and the word got out that I was a whale. Since then my empty mail box is full every day.

Similar tale. A couple of years ago I donated $50 to a firemen's relief fund. After that, I was getting snail mail once a week, emails once a day, and phone calls at least three times a day. i did some investigation, and it turns out that most of these fund raisers for police, sheriffs, firemen, emts, and other first responders are done by the same few marketing companies. Once they saw I was willing, I went onto their go-to list for everything from retirement supplement to gear purchases to widows and orphans college funds, etc and etc.
Figuring out HOW to get OFF their mailing list was a time-consuming chore, but I finally did it.
I have still given, but I do it anonymously using money orders without an address or contact information.
