It Would Appear That The Trump Trial Will Need A Rocket Docket Capable Judge That Won't Play Delay Games
Word is that the 11th Circuit is prepared to immediately step in and bench Cannon like they did before if she steps out of line in any significant way...she undoubtedly knows this. There are some things that she could do that she is aware are too far, such as dismissing charges or suppressing evidence...but she can slow walk the case, giving deference to trump's delay tactics other judges would not be tolerant of at all.
Florida judges are famous for their rocket docket speedy agendas, and that is what is needed here, judges that are about getting this thing done in the fastest possible way. It wouldn't take much in the way of delays to put trials right in the middle of primary and then e******n periods, so the best way to solve that problem is not to allow trump to screw around with delays...judges have the power to do that.

These speculations have been on all news/commentary reports. On the one hand, Florida judges are known for their speedy trials, but Judge Cannon is a well known Trump advocate, and might accommodate Trump’s game of delay, delay, delay. And the DOJ will be watching closely.

The right sure as hell doesn't want any of the trump judges that are fed up with his delay tactics. The judge that was presiding over the case before Cannon got herself into it was doing fine, but trump didn't like the fact that he wasn't willing to play games with scheduling or unnecessary special master delays.
