Not far from us, down the road a bit is tiny town of just near 2000 souls..

When we moved here, that tiny town had 5 millionaires.. a tiny town but with a fine industrial park.. a number of business, including one from Canada and one from france.. but the largest is a plastic mfg plant..

Now some have passed, some have moved. but one remains and is still a busy man.. the owner of the plastic plant and some others both locally and national..

for now , he wishes to enlarge the Minnesota plant in the tiny town... but as you may have read in my posts we have many more jobs than workers.. so the old gentleman moves with the times and has enlarged the plant a great deal and will be raising production this summer.. HOW?? so he need workers, the help wanted signs have been up nearly constantly for a decade at least.. he pays city wages, 401k, health insurance. and maybe more..

He still needs people.. so he is bringing in Immigrants to fill the need.. but the little town has a housing problem.. no place for people to live.. He thinks on his feet and found a solution..

The tiny town once had a hospital then became a clinic and via incorporation the large medical corp closed even the clinic.. Now it has sat empty for over two years.. Our man of mention has it figured out. He is converting the old building to housing for his work force and they will come in and have a pretty good job and a place to live within only a few blocks of each other.. so the town will be diversity center in northern minnesota..

does that plan make your heart sing or what???

Just for clarity, the town is Rush City MN, the company it Plastic, and the owner is named Frandsen.. (spelling?)

He sort of a nut, gave the entire graduating class at the local school scholarship to tech or 2 year of college..

Is it not heartwarming when in Minnesota we can make what a few call a problem and make it into a winning situation for the town and all involved.. what a great story..

As long as they're LEGAL immigrants, what's the problem? However, if they are I*****L A***NS, that's another story.

That’s exactly how immigration is supposed to work. Vet them. Give them jobs. If they want to become citizens go through the legal process. If he hires i******s. Shut him down.

BS. The right does not h**e immigrants. What a ridiculous position to take but typical of the left. Legal Immigration built this country and made it great. Americans welcome legal immigrants with a willingness to assimilate.
