Depends the crop and the free market. It teens weren’t so spoiled they’d work for about any spending money. We all did.

I think students who want to work in farming should volunteer to work for farmers like picking fruits to have credits for their college degrees..

A "living wage" for everyone, what ever that is, is an economic impossibility in a free market economy. Prices always adjust up to the availability of money and some people will always be below the poverty line. In real life, due to economics and human nature, absolute equity can not exist.

we have regular migrant workers that depend on the farm work here one of the issues with all the illegal flooding the border is they will take the job from these workers need many come over from Mexico on a regular basis to do crops here and travel all over till the season is over and go back home

My mother worked in cotton fields when she was a young girl to help the family, she picked more than men but got paid less! Even if you paid people more they don’t come here to work they come here for your socialist handouts!
