What you people fail to understand is they won't be coming for all the big BISNESSES it will be small companies and anyone else that isn't on the government teat. So the middle class, people who work and pay taxes no matter how small their incomes are. The rich hire lawyers who get them off. The rest of us lose everything just trying to defend ourselves from the government.
It doesn't surprise me that you were not paying any attention to what it was...instead you are piping straight FOX rhetorical stupidity.
It was explained that no audits would affect anyone making under three or four hundred grand, that doesn't sound like the small working class person who is struggling.
I've been through audits, I know people who have, nobody I've ever known lost everything over an audit.
Now on the other hand I've known people myself included that hadn't even filed taxes, and it did cause some pretty severe discomfort to have to pay what I owed, but that was not the government's or IRS's fault, they were just doing their jobs.
I want tax c***ters held accountable.

One of the left's stupidest beliefs is that the IRS is your friend. The IRS audits "hard working middle class people at five times the rate they audit "the rich" that you liberal looney tunes like to b***h about. You know, the ones who ALREADY pay most of the taxes? The IRS by it's own admission goes after low-h*****g fruit, which means people who cannot afford the high priced accountants and lawyers that keep the money of "the rich" sacrosanct. You say you know people who have been audited and it cost them nothing. I say bulls**t. I know people who have been audited, gone to court and won, and their lawyer fees to prove their innocence cost more than the taxes the IRS falsely accused them of owing.

If they are under the small business umbrella , they should be scrutinized.
Many of these companies should claim the same benefits as actual small businesses.
What small business can make $5million/per year.
And they get all of the help from the socialist government as the small businesses do.
The socialist small business administration has always been there to help
Small Businesses .
But $5million / per year
Is not a small business.
