Every nation in the world has its disadvantaged, its persecuted, and threatened with harm or even death. I see no reason that the US should commit to and be obligated to being the universal rescue nation of the world's refuges.

It is a deliberate choice we make in very special circumstances to let a few refuge people into the country, and it is v**ed upon, or should be, and not allowed to rush our borders en masse.
