What are the sane ones, those on the right, doing to help those on the left recover?

Well we probably will not deem cutting off little kids penises and breast as the solution. Nor will we think releasing the mentally ill back into society because the "poor" things can't help being sick after all. Mental illness seems to be a growing issue in America. It is linked to many things including biology, physical/mental/emotional abuse, drugs/alcohol and in some cases it is even believed that it can be linked to what we eat and smell. This conservative's solution is now what it has always been: Treat the mentally ill with compassion, therapy and medication "if deemed appropriate. If that mentally ill person is a threat to themselves or others "lock them up"!!!!!!!! If they cannot be medicated or treated in a manner that removes the threat "permanently", keep them locked up, yes permanently!
