A wave of criticism is greeting an L***Q+ “Youth Carnival” set to take place in Indianapolis in early June, largely because the event will bar parents from attending.

The June 7 event organized by two L***Q+ organizations, Indiana Youth Group and Indy P***e, is advertised as providing food, fun, and unspecified entertainment for “youth,” although adults ages 18 through 20 also are invited.

TRENDING: 2024 in black and white

“It’s alarming how quickly the ‘P***e’ movement has gone from ‘just stay out of our bedroom’ to ‘give us your kids and stay out!’” U.S. Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., said in a written statement provided to The Daily Signal.

“We must start pushing back on the public officials and corporations that are enabling the Left’s radical social agenda,” Banks added. “This is out of control.”

A poster for the Youth Carnival doesn’t indicate the nature of the entertainment, but the registration form for children describes “an opportunity to meet local Indy d**g royalty” and a “youth talent show” as among planned activities:

The registration form also asks children to identify their preferred personal pronouns, including the options “They/Them/Theirs,” “Ze/Zir/Zem/Zeir,” and “Xe/Xir/Xem/Xeir.”

Zoe O’Haillin-Berne, director of engagement for Indiana Youth Group, responded to my original questions after my first report on the Youth Carnival was published Wednesday by The Daily Signal.

Among those questions is why the group is excluding parents, and why adults 18 through 20 are invited to an event for minors.

Regarding the exclusion of parents, O’Haillin-Berne said that although parents “are invited to participate in alternative activities … , we do not allow parents on site for safety concerns.”

These safety concerns derived from a “general sociopolitical climate” that is “inhospitable and hostile to L***Q+ children,” she said, and could “cause psychological and physical harm to q***r youth.”

O’Haillin-Berne didn’t indicate which groups are considered “inhospitable and hostile” by Indiana Youth Group, nor whether parents are among them.

Indiana Youth Group CEO Chris Paulsen previously told The Indianapolis Star that parents thought to be unsupportive of L***Q+ ideology are inhospitable.

The Daily Signal reported Wednesday that Indiana Youth Group runs a program, Prism, which it describes as a “rapid rehousing project … focused specifically on serving L***Q+ young adults.” The group says that its program rehouses these L***Q+ young adults from “unsupportive” homes and parents.

At the June 7 event, Indiana Youth Group presumably would be able to advertise Prism without parents’ knowledge.

About the barring of parents, O’Haillin-Berne also said that “most youth don’t like their parents h*****g around while they’re trying to enjoy time with friends and peers.”

Notably, O’Haillin-Berne omitted “meeting d**g royalty” as one activity at the Youth Carnival. She mentioned “a DJ, youth talent show, and standard carnival activities like facepainting, games, and crafts,” but left d**g q***ns off the list although the registration form mentions them.

The event is scheduled from 1 to 6 p.m. June 7 at Indiana Youth Group’s activity center in Indianapolis, nicknamed “The Pit.”

The response so far from lawmakers, including Banks, has been universally negative.

Banks also criticized the advertised sponsor of the Youth Carnival in a tweet, writing: “What the hell is the [Indianapolis Airport Authority] thinking?”

State Rep. Jim Lucas, R-Seymour, tweeted a similar question: “Why in the hell is the [Indianapolis] Airport Authority involved in something that bars parents from seeing what their children are being exposed to?”

The Indianapolis Airport Authority, the only organization described by Indiana Youth Group on its poster as “presenting the event,” has balked at being singled out. Officials there told The Daily Signal that the airport authority is one of “many sponsors.”

State Rep. Jake Teshka, R-South Bend, said he believes the planned event should be grounds for removing Indiana Youth Group from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles’ vanity license plate nonprofit program, which receives taxpayer funding:

In a written statement, Teshka told The Daily Signal:

The idea that there would be a festival based solely on sexual identity and replete with sexual themes aimed at youth is in and of itself very troubling. To think that organizers would explicitly forbid parental involvement is simply untenable.

In the legislature I have fought for the recognition of parents’ right to direct the upbringing of their children. It’s disheartening to know that an organization supported in part by the state would further try to separate parents from kids.

Others have begun to question the ethicality of holding P***e events that include children in any form.

Jay Richards, director of The Heritage Foundation’s DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family, provided this statement to The Daily Signal, which is the leading think tank’s multimedia news organization:

A campaign launched under the banner of ‘p***e’—one of the Seven Deadly Sins—was never a good idea. But with the infusion of g****r ideology into its ranks, ‘p***e’ now stands for sexualizing children. And to succeed, children must be alienated from their parents.

I doubt many who campaigned for same-sex marriage imagined that targeting kids, exposing them to porn, and teaching them they might be born in the wrong body would be next on the agenda. At some point in the future, I suspect the g****r activists will look back and identify this as the moment they went too far. They’ve turned not only their parents but even much of the coalition they claim to speak for against them.

I can think of lots of words to describe such a campaign. ‘P***e’ isn’t one of them.

Target Pays Millions of Dollars to Org That Wants to Secretly T***sition Kids Without Parent Permission

By Johnathan Jones
May 26, 2023 at 11:54am
Target has paid millions of dollars to a left-wing organization that encourages schools to help students change g****rs and asks educators to help them hide it from their parents, according to a report.

The group GLSEN, which was formerly known as the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network, has nationwide chapters that attempt to sneak L**T propaganda into classrooms.

According to Fox News, Target has been partnered with GLSEN for 10 years and has paid the group $2.1 million during that time.

According to a report filed on Friday, GLSEN works to undermine parents by reaching their kids with reading materials about g****r t***sitioning at school and how it can be done without parental knowledge.

The group has laid out strict guidelines for school districts on how to accomplish the goal.

Trending: Disgraced 'Non-Binary' Former Biden Official Is Finding Out the Hard Way That Jails Are Very Binary
“[The local education agency] shall ensure that all personally identifiable and medical information relating to t*********r and nonbinary students is kept confidential,” the guidance states.

“Staff or educators shall not disclose any information that may reveal a student’s g****r identity to others, including parents or guardian… This disclosure must be discussed with the student, prior to any action,” it also adds.

GLSEN also asks districts to include multiple g****r alternatives any time g****r is mentioned in classrooms. It has also found a way to incorporate g****r ideology into math courses.

For example, GSLEN calls for more math problems that include pronouns such as “they/them” in sexually explicit books for it offers to schools.

The group also shared a testimonial from a teacher who announced she was t*********r to her students.

“It took me three years of teaching middle-school science before feeling comfortable enough to come out to my students as a t***s man,” the testimonial from the educator said.

She added:

“We were starting a unit focused on how identity impacts the practice of science, including the ways that specific groups are marginalized by normative ideas… In the introduction to the unit, I shared my personal experience of… the ways that t***s people are often erased by the language used by scientists and medical professionals to describe bodies, patients, and health practices.”

Target has not commented on the discovery of its partnership with GSLEN, nor has the group.

The retailer is currently being boycotted over its “p***e” merchandise and for partnering with a company that embraces L**T satanism.

Target is currently hemorrhaging money, as is Anheuser-Busch, following Bud Light’s decision to partner up in April with t*********r social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

GLSEN issued a statement on Thursday that called on Anheuser-Busch and Target to both continue to elevate fringe views on g****r and sexuality.

“Recent pushback against businesses such as Anheuser-Busch and Target, blatantly organized by extremist groups, serves as a wake up call for all businesses that support the L***Q+ community,” the group said.

GSLEN also said, “We’ve seen this extremist playbook of attacks before. Their goal is clear: to prevent L***Q+ inclusion and representation, silence our allies and make our community invisible.”

Disgraced 'Non-Binary' Former Biden Official Is Finding Out the Hard Way That Jails Are Very Binary

By Johnathan Jones
May 24, 2023 at 10:46am
Former Biden administration nuclear waste official Sam Brinton, who identifies as “non-binary,” is about to find out the hard way the rest of the world doesn’t cater to his g****r delusions.

The 35-year-old L**T activist grabbed headlines over his penchant for wearing women’s clothing and lipstick as in his job at the U.S. Office of Nuclear Energy, where he was the deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste.

Brinton’s world came crashing down late last year when it was alleged he was into more than just wearing women’s clothing.

People in three states said Brinton stole their luggage at airports, presumably so he could raid them for their contents.

It appeared the federal government had hired a kleptomaniac t**********e with claims of g****r fluidity to make decisions about spent plutonium.

Last week, he was arrested at his home in Rockville, Maryland, on charges of being a “fugitive from justice.”

Former Biden-admin official & celebrated nonbinary star @sbrinton was arrested again in now a third criminal case involving airport luggage theft. Brinton was given a sweetheart no-jail-time deal for the prior charges.

— Andy Ngô 🏳️‍🌈 (@MrAndyNgo) May 19, 2023

This week, Brinton found out the jail system is very binary, the New York Post reported.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in Maryland told the newspaper that he will be housed in the general population at a county Department of Correction and Rehabilitation facility for men.

In the county, inmates are placed into facilities based on what is between their legs rather than how certain garments — whether stolen or purchased — make them feel on the inside.

A deputy who spoke to the Post pointed to a policy on how the department houses inmates.

“Although MCDOCR does not consider anatomical changes brought about by hormonal therapy to be changes that constitute a change of anatomical sex, the classification of an arrestee/inmate will depend on whether the arrestee/inmate has male or female g*****lia, whether they present a management or security problem, and whether their health and safety can be ensured,” the policy says.

“Once an inmate is classified, they will be given a housing assignment based on that classification,” it says.

One hopes Brinton will fade away into irrelevancy once his charges are resolved and find the help he needs to go on and live a fruitful life serving people other than himself.

In the interim, he might just learn something about the cold, hard reality that the world he’s been inhabiting in his mind is not real but something conjured up by him and others.

This story is not about one sick man and his quest to live his “best life.”

Sam Brinton is a symptom of a diseased society that has blurred the lines of what is right and wrong and is also attempting to rid itself of all cultural mores and values.

The fact the country even knows his name is proof that the administration of President Joe Biden holds all people who try to live decent lives in complete contempt.

No one outside of the federal government knows how many qualified people were passed over for a crucial job disposing of toxic nuclear waste so that Brinton could play dress-up on the taxpayer’s dime.

But the experiment to elevate and normalize his illness failed spectacularly.

Sexualization of children is exactly what they’re doing. That is evil

It would be great if no one attended.

Texas Coffee Shop Known For ‘Family Friendly’ D**g Events, Handing Out Plan B Like Candy Closes Doors After Backlash

Tumbleweed and Sage Coffeehouse in Wolfforth, TX

The overwhelmingly conservative West Texas community did not take kindly to the coffeehouse misrepresenting the values of its citizens.

The Wolfforth, Texas coffee shop that faced immense backlash for regularly hosting sexually explicit events and handing out Plan B to minors is closing its doors.

The owners of Tumbleweed and Sage Coffeehouse, which describes itself as a “brave space” business, announced this week that they hope to sell the shop infamous for its embrace of l*****t politics “asap.” Several commenters lamented the loss of the coffeehouse, while others begged the owners to sell to someone who shares Tumbleweed and Sage’s “values and morals.”

Pro-life group West Texas for Life, which helped Wolfforth’s neighboring city Lubbock become a sanctuary city for life in 2021, credited the community as the reason for the closure.

“We are glad to see that the people of West Texas refused to support a coffee shop that handed out a******n causing drugs. We had hoped to see them repent and use their business for the glory of God,” the organization’s Facebook post states. “Instead of rejoicing in their suffering, we ask that you pray that they would be converted to know and love Christ!”

Tumbleweed and Sage began its tenure in the Lubbock, Texas suburb in 2020 by selling coffee, hosting book-themed events, and promoting its holiday treat se******n. By 2022, the coffeehouse, which is located directly across the street from a local high school, piv**ed towards advancing leftism by partnering with LubbockP***E to host “family-friendly” d**g q***n story hours.

Shortly after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson decision, Tumbleweed and Sage also partnered with Texas pro-a******n group Jane’s Due Process — whose primary mission is to help minors travel out of state to obtain a******ns — to hand out at least 100 kits containing two Plan B pills, two condoms, a pregnancy test, and an “instruction pamphlet.”

“The issue of contraception hits close to home now that I have first-hand experience of being a mother,” the owner, a former field director for the Democrat Party, wrote in an article for Newsweek.

Tumbleweed and Sage’s decision to give free drugs to whoever asked for them prompted an investigation by the local police department.

The overwhelmingly conservative West Texas community also did not take kindly to Tumbleweed and Sage’s attempts to misrepresent the values of its citizens and flooded the coffeehouse with statements, phone calls, emails, and even peaceful protests showcasing their objections to events and materials that sexualize children.

The coffeehouse owners returned the community’s criticism with complaints to corporate media that Lubbockites are merely “stuck in their ways.” They also planned L**T-themed counterprotests in their parking lot.

By December of 2022, however, Tumbleweed and Sage’s tune had slightly changed. Faced with increasing boycotts over their recent activism, the coffeehouse turned to local news outlets to complain that they were not getting as much business as they expected.

“I sat back and I thought, is this the reason we’re slow?” the owner wondered before brushing off the slump as a problem facing more businesses than hers.

Tumbleweed and Sage’s fear that their political activism would hamper business opportunities in the conservative town came to life again in January 2023 when their plans for a second location in the Lubbock Downtown Center of South Plains College, a public community college with several campuses across the Texas panhandle, were canceled by the school just one week after they received the keys.

“I am super heartbroken to announce that we will not be moving into the SPC downtown location. They called us today and they terminated our contract. The reason being is our volunteer affiliation with Jane’s Due process,” the owner wrote on Instagram. “I honestly don’t know what to be more upset about, losing an opportunity that we really needed to help our business. Or to know that a public college who ‘doesn’t like our politics’ has tons of women students who depend on them.”

Despite losing out on a second location reportedly because of its partnership with pro-a******n groups, Tumbleweed and Sage continued to host politically charged rallies and sexually explicit events.

Just last week, the coffeehouse hosted a “Birds and Bees PJ Party” which featured sex-themed drinks, sex toy demonstrations, and phallic-themed art.

“It is labeled as an adult event but it is up to your discretion to bring your teens and what nots,” the Instagram post promoting the event states.

'P***e' month actually something much more sinister, commentator warns
'Your children will have the same worldview as Greta Thunberg, and you will be happy'

A new commentary at The Federalist is warning that June, "P***e" month for those of that ideological persuasion, is becoming something much more sinister.

In fact, mandatory.

"Your children will have the same world view as Greta Thunberg, and you will be happy about it," warns Samuel Mangold-Lenett, a staff editor at The Federalist whose writing has appeared in Daily Wire, Townhall, The American Spectator, and more.

He said "P***e" events include the rainbow lighting of the White House, praising the Nashville shooter and continuing to denigrate religious organizations.

"In this instance, and countless others, the public and private sectors work hand in glove to advance both an ideological and political agenda. When, recently, Ohio Republican Sen. J.D. Vance said that '[t]here is no meaningful distinction between the public and the private sector in the United States of America,' he was describing situations like this, in which state and corporate entities move in lockstep towards common, predetermined goals with such strength and vigor that dissent becomes impossible."

The point is that "elite" of government and corporate America use their influence to impose "a public-private regime dedicated to immanentizing a disordered eschaton."

Not only is the ideology promoted, dissent is prevented.

"Things like ESG scores, the Corporate E******y Index, the L**T indoctrination of children by public schools and entertainment conglomerates like Disney, and pronoun struggle sessions at the State Department make this apparent. Wanting the same outcomes, these institutions invest their vast resources, time, and manpower to coerce the public’s behavior," he wrote.

"Sexuality just happens to be one of the more obvious instances in which these people have let their mask slip. Nevertheless, you must get on board or get crushed. You are no longer allowed to opt out; we saw this when Big Tech attacked Gays Against G***mers, presumably for the crime of highlighting the predatory behavior of pederasts," the column said.

"Objectors to the outcomes of this synthesis of power are met with censorship, violence towards them is treated with nonchalance, and they have their careers and reputations ruined. Loyalty to the regime, of course, is rewarded — as we saw with Jen Psaki’s t***sition to MSNBC after her stint as White House press secretary."

The public and private sectors, in situations like this, in fact, "enforce" each others' goals.

"They are different in name only," he said. "And only by spreading their message can you reap the benefits; opposing it drastically increases the odds you get your teeth kicked in."

"What’s the point of all this? Clearly, it isn’t to destigmatize homosexuality in the West; that has already been done."

He said what it is, is, "to stop you from saying no while the most powerful institutions in the history of the world — the federal government and corporate America — collaborate to force it upon you and your community."
