Hum, only six robocalls a day? Our answering machine says, "You have reached [x] and [y]. Family and friends, leave a message after the beep. Telemarketers, you have reached a number on the "Do not call list."
We then get a click when it is a telemarketer, an unknown number, or a person.
The caller has been notified we are on a do not call list--therefore, they can be fined if they persist. My machine keeps a list of the calls in case I need them. I mostly delete them. If they are repetitive, I block the number.

I used to get several calls per day, now I might get 1 per week. When a number shows up that's not on my call list I answer in a very harsh tone, "I don't know you, what the F do you want Sh-thead". There's always a brief moment of silence then the hang up. Works like a charm.
