Sounds more like typical Republican activity to me. Anyone ever figure out what Trump was going to do with all the classified docs he took from DC and was hiding in Mar-a-Lago? Sell them? Put them in his scrap book?

Wrong again. I can give very specific examples of each, should you want them....evidence at least, if no overwhelming evidence.
Hiding? Everyone knew they were there, including the DOJ and the FBI and the media. I think you are confusing Trump with Biden, who hid HIS stolen classified documents so well that HE claimed to not know of them....but I bet H****r sure as heck had access to them.

Big difference is that Trump said he personally (!) declassified the documents, and ignored subpoenas to return them.

I agree. BIG difference. Trump declassified the documents and therefore any subpoenas demanding their return were arguably illegal.
Biden, on the other hand, as VP was NOT entitled to any such documents WHATSOEVER. He flat out STOLE the ones he took and hid them away. And you want to questions TRUMP's reasons for taking them?? What an incredibly hypocritical, naive, and blatantly STUPID and FAILED attempt at reasoning!
A BIG difference indeed!

Hahahaha……. “Trump personally (!) declassified the documents”, allegedly just by thinking them declassified.

No Kemmer, I'm not.
There is no legal limitations on when how why or the method used by the President to declassify documents. So if he chooses to do so in his mind without telling anyone, that is HIS prerogative. I do not approve, but that is the law. It does not matter whether you or I approve.....haven't you noticed that yet?
As far as the law is concerned, PRESIDENT Biden could possibly retroactively declassify the documents VP Biden stole. I wonder if one of his handlers has thought of that?
And you have stopped trying to respond to my statements. Are YOU running out of corners to hide in?

I’m sure that would be news to everyone in gov’t., that the president can declassify any classified/top secret documents simply by “thinking” them declassified. And then without a word, take them home. 😳

Not a surprise at all. There is NO law or legislation that defines any limits for the President when it comes to declassifying documents. For everyone else, yes, but not for the President. That is what several legal and Constitutional scholars have said. If you have something that says different, then let's see it.
Please note.....your opinion of what it SHOULD be does not count. Neither does mine.

So now it’s OK for a private citizen to hold classified/top secret documents a president has allegedly “thought” them declassified without notifying anyone in gov’t.? Strange that the gov’t. wanted them back and was forced to go get them.

Hahaha…. He didn’t have to have the FBI sent a SWAT team to take them back after Trump ignored several subpoenas. Besides, who knew how old the were.

Hahahahaha, hahahahaha, hahahhahahhaha, notice his "Attorney" didn't offer them up till after Trump's raid. Ahahahahahaha, ahahahhahahha. And he was a "Senator", he never had the right declassify one way or another. Do you use your brain or just buy into anything that justifies a Democrat doing something they accuse and want to prosecute a Republican for. So glad I left that party, The lying, document altering, collusion creating, r****t party of h**e! Oh yeah, PS-what does age of documents have to do with anything, they don't quit being classified just because they age!!!!!

Hadn't you noticed? The DOJ and the FBI has not followed the law for almost eight years, now.

Kemmer, like most liberals, only apply logic, reasoning, or thought to invent ways to justify what the DNC tells them to think. I like Kemmer, and have had many good debates with him......this wasn't one of them. He has no credible evidence nor justification for what he believes on this subject. Just extreme left wing rationalization.
