Did anyone remember that today is December 7?

And how many people even know what that means?

Yes, I did; but there has been rare mention of one of the most significant battles in the history of America. "We have to change history, our conversations and our traditions" [Michelle Obama]. And if the liberal progressive c*******ts have much more to say about America, the "blame America first" crowd will have US attacking Japan in the future history books!!!

My f**g is at half mast in remembrance of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The day that was supposed to live in infamy, but political correctness has gotten in the way.

Pearl Harbor 1941 that was a tragic day. sad to think it took so many lives on every side. was just over 4 years for it to be ended after our involvement. that was when our military could do it's job. not anymore. politicians are to involved you can't do this or that and that doesn't look nice so you can't do that either. then they wonder why were in these conflicts for so many years. hope you have a Merry Christmas and a good New year

There are fewer and fewer people remembering and living thru the Pearl harbor and the start of the Pacific ww11 part of the war while the other part was fighting the germans for the European part of the war with England and Russia. All you have now are the tree swingers,criminals,ignorant- ignormanus i*****l a***n mendicants seeking freebies and could care less what is going on in the USA internally much less historically. The i*****l a***ns and even legal permanent residents arriving today barely know anything about the USA except that it is a rich country and they can easily get lots of free money($40,000 per person) so they can go back home and buy a rancho with all the Entitlement money they get their hands on. They bring in Grandma and grandpa for their 3 year stay so they can get social security and then go home to the welfare money they sent back to buy a rancho and live on monthly checks from the loopy left socialists....Am so glad that their are some people who believe that the the end times are coming!! Maybe its true?

How so? I am not aware of any effort to diminish, historically, the attack on Pearl Harbor. I know the attack drove my Dad to enlist in the USMC at the age of fifteen. All of my Family, including children and grandchildren above a certain age are aware of both the attack and the significance of it in historical perspective.

Events fading in the memories of many of our population is not a result of 'political correctness' insofar as my understanding of the term. It is simply laziness and lack of respect by those individuals who do forget.

I suffer the memory of that tragic day, and will forever. Similarly, I will remember 9/11, and November 22nd.

Dec. 7, 1941. A day that shall live infamy. I was just short of 3 years old, yet I remember hearing FDR's voice on the radio announcing the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japs. The memory stuck because of the reaction of my parents at the declaration of war they were listening to.

Our government apologized for dropping the A-Bombs on Japan, if that doesn't diminish what Japan did during WWII nothing will. We, that grew up during WWII will never forget it, but if left to our government WWII would be buried and forgotten. Winning wars is just not politically correct anymore. If you cannot believe that, just look at the outcomes of the wars ever since.

Yes,that is a legitimate response to my post, and I agree.

But, without defending Japan, their nation has apologized in several ways for their actions leading to and during WWII...the primary one by basically eliminating their military power since the end of the war. Of course, they have profited fiscally from our protecting them after doing so.

Of course. How can anyone of our generation ever forget? Unfortunately, succeeding generations aren't even aware of its significance, but then, the MSM rarely give it much coverage any longer.

hprinze posted a topic earlier about Target being Muslim owned and several other falsehoods all of which have been proven to be a h**x. He needs to retract that topic and apologize for being i***tic enough for doing so!

I don't apologize for anything and you don't tell me what I should do.

You are a stupid Obama idolizer and I wouldn't attempt to rell you what you should do, if for no other reaqson, Obamabots are not intelligent enough to understand.

People who have anywhere near reasonable intelligence know that if that don't like a post they should reply on the same thread, not a totally unrelated one.
