When one side wants to only grow government and the other side wants to only reduce it, when one side want to push socialism and the other capitalism (not crony-capitalism), when one side wants to dilute the constitution and the other wants to follow it as written, where can there be compromise? It's really is no longer a matter of who is most qualified. It's a matter of basic ideology. Federal Government Socialism has been winning the ideological war for over a hundred years and Republicans have been compromising the entire time. It's time for a change in direction before it's too late.

I hear that...it's not us against them, us being those who feel like us...it's them against us, it's them who calls us the enemy, and uses language of war, treason, and violence to whip up fear mongering hatred

And there it is, the right wanting to shrink programs that need oversight in order to cut waste and fraud
...IRS that needs to spend hundreds of millions in order to recover hundreds of billions aggressively auditing and enforce actions against tax c***ters
...socialism, the act of taking care of people that need it, GOP capitalism giving trillions to the wealthiest that don't need it
...and the right that has so aggressively undercut the constitution and v****g rights that it can't be recognized, case in point refusing to let a democratic president appoint a supreme court justice while blatantly pissing on those reasons to jam a trump one through at the last minute.

Get off your high horse.

My ex worked as a seasonal employee for the IRS. Four month a year in a low sk**l job. Back in 2005 she got paid the equivalent of 35K a year in salary and benefits for four months of entry level work. She was one of hundreds in just one of many IRS offices. Spare me the "republicans want to cut benefits" narrative. Republicans want a responsible well managed government that is restrained from operating outside the constitution.

It is the left who is attacking your inalienable rights. It is the left that is destroying the integrity of the v****g system. It is the left with their race baiting rhetoric that is causing the increase in r****m over the last 14 years.

The GOP is not giving money to the wealthy. It is their money. Not the Governments. Trump merely let everyone keep a little more of their money before the Government confiscates the rest.

It's them that use violence to silence speech. It's them that abuse power.
It's them that h**e our Founding documents.
It's them that have no moral absolutes.
It's them that have no abject t***hs.
It's them that call us the enemy and use the power of the government to intimidate and silence us.

Guess who them is?

The wealthy in the US pay the lowest taxes in the world...

Wealthy people and corporations couldn't be and stay wealthy without the money the government spends on infrastructure. The periods when this country did way better taxes were over 50%, it didn't stop people from creating wealth, in fact it stimulated wealth and prosperity.

You sound like you live in the lunatic fringe where everything government is bad, until you need something.

Subsidies paid to Big Oil, Big Ag, Big Pharma, etc. are Republicans initiatives.

Sponsored by Republicans, bought and paid paid for by lobbyists for all of the special interests associations.

Huge cost.

These are profitable endeavours and do not need financial assistance.

I live in a world where corrupt politicians are bad regardless of their party. Government does have some legit purposes.

I assume most libtards are happy about leaving All the military equipment in Afghanistan and allowing all these Millions into our country with no telling what type diseases we might get.
Taxpaying Americans really like replacing this and sending it to ukcraine plus taking care of all these invaders.
Thanks liberals.
