Insurers Believe Obamacare SCOTUS Decision Would Be Solved By Executive Orders

Link below shows insurer opinion if SCOTUS decides to uphold the case against Obamacare, which argues it doesn’t permit people to get federal subsidies to buy insurance unless they live in states that run their own markets selling coverage. They believe republican governors in the 36 states using the Federal Exchange would issue EO's to work around it.

Obamacare is unconstitutional for several reasons but one glaring error is ignored.

When the pols were pushing for its passage, they claimed it contained no new taxes. When it was challenged on the grounds that givernment had no authority to charge a fine or fee for NOT buying insurance, the Supreme Court ruled that if it was a fine or fee it was unconstitutional, but if it was a tax that the government had the authority to levy taxes. So right away, Obama flipped and said it was a tax.

Problem is that Obamacare originated in the SEnate and all fundraising tax bills MUST originate in the House. That makes the entire Obamacare act illegitimate and unconstitutional. The House members are well aware of this but they do nothing about it.

I think the article is a tell the insurance industry is worried that obamacare will take a hit from the ruling and they're trying to curtail a crash in stock prices by imagining what actions could be taken to oppose SCOTUS upholding the case. I guess it's possible, but it's not very convincing conservative states would issue EOs to keep obamacare going if it is ruled illegal/unconstitutional.
