God simply can't take all the Credit for miracles and blame for evil things...it's wrong, not to mention meaningless as far as pointing to whose fault something is.

Did you read the article? Here's what he said:

""Well, those are people that don't believe in an almighty God who, who has, who is absolutely in control of our lives. I'm a Christian. I believe that he is. We have people though, with mental health that we're not taking care of since this nation made the decision that we were gonna close the mental health institutions. Many of these situations are based on that, uh, and the people that say, and, and I really, I would like to stay away from the politics today because I wanna focus on the victims. Today we should be focused on the families," Self said. "Prayer is powerful in the lives of those people that are devastated. I know people want to make this political, but prayers are important and they are powerful in the families who are devastated right now."

Now show me where it says or even implys "All The Mass Shootings Are God's Fault". Waiting

Well, he said that God "is absolutely in control of our lives".

So we are apparently hopeless to stop mass shootings as long as God "allows" these things to happen. You know, just like hurricanes and tornados and train wrecks. It's all God's Will. All we can do is pray!

Well, people have been praying for decades now for the victims of these murderers, but it hasn't done a damn thing to stop the carnage. And it's not going to stop the next mass shooting, which is surely just around the corner...

The State Rep was concerned about peoples' mental health, and the fact that there's no place for them to get help. Perhaps that's what anti-gun groups should be more concerned about and honest with themselves and others affected by the mental illness that is reaching enormous numbers.

Well, why is the USA so unique when it comes to mental health? People around the globe suffer from mental issues - but only HERE are there mass shootings almost once a week. Why?

Imo, anyone who thinks this problem is merely a mental health issue is delusional.

https://www.commonwealthfund.org/publications/issue-briefs/2020/may/mental-health-conditions-substance-use-comparing-us-other-countries

Highlights
About one-quarter of U.S. adults report having a mental health diagnosis such as anxiety or depression or experiencing emotional distress. This is one of the highest rates among 11 high-income countries.

While U.S. adults are among the most willing to seek professional help for emotional distress, they are among the most likely to report access or affordability issues.

Emotional distress is associated with social and economic needs in all countries. Nearly half of U.S. adults who experience emotional distress report such worries, a higher share than seen in other countries.

The United States has some of the worst mental health–related outcomes, including the highest suicide rate and second-highest drug-related death rate.

The U.S. has a relatively low supply of mental health workers, particularly psychologists and psychiatrists. Just one-third of U.S. primary care practices have mental health professionals on their team, compared to more than 90 percent in the Netherlands and Sweden.

Not the same as saying the guy said it was God’s fault.

First of all we have free will over our own decisions and God doesn't force anyone. Man's fault not God's. He steps back when pushed out and people live with the consequences of their decisions. This carnage is not God's choice.
