You know. I've always wanted to get a Vorlund Express. You can drop anything with that. Even a charging Grizzly.

I use the pyrodex pellets 150 gr. and the sabot with 45 cal bullet red...made by TC they have a tail that the pellets slide onto makes loading very easy.

If it's not stainless yes...you gotta like cleaning a weapon if not...you only have to clean them if you shoot otherwise you can leave the load in just pull the cap.

Can't remember what caliber. All I remember is that it was 14 millimeters

Edit: Did I say 14? Scratch that. That can't be right. Curse this failing memory.

No,,, just don't use "pyrodex" and leave it in the barrel,,,, clean it with boiling water until the barrel is so hot that it dries the water ,,,, bore brush it, and then oil it,, come back in a few days, and brush and oil again.

You know. You'd think that they would be able to make a self cleaning gun. Is that too much to ask for? I mean, we have self cleaning ovens.

That is correct.hot boiling water, but instead of oil I use TC Bore butter helps to season the barrel.

If you use pyrodex pellets you can leave them in, but once you shoot it you gotta clean it that night, if left even just over Nite it will already start to rust.

Also once your loaded keep your gun in a place where it's close to the outside temp..don't bring it into a warm place, condensation will get your powder damp and increases the risk of a misfire, learned this the hard way.

Once I load, spend the day hunting I pull the primer and keep it in my unseated mud room etc until I shoot weather at a deer or just want to get rid of the load, once shot you have to clean it like suggested above.
