Actually I never have seen it on a job application or any other official inquiry. It doesn't need to be there either.

As to the need to tell sexual preference, I have to use AuntiE’s often used expression; When there are angels ice skating in hades, will I make that a party of my identity when meeting someone nor will I do the pronoun thingie.
