Marines have always been big on Christmas. Have you not heard of 'Toys for Tots'? We have big hearts and generous souls.

AuntiE should recognize those traits inherent to Marines.

Toys for Tots is a program run by the USMC Reserves to provide toys for needy/deserving children who might otherwise do without. Marines collect new or slightly used toys throughout October, November and December to distribute to those children by December 25th. I assumed it was nationwide. It is big in Texas and has been for years. I am surprised you seem to have never heard of it.

I am told they are delivered by Marines in full uniform...often-times, Dress Blues. They are armed only with a smile.

Unless that stick is 1400 miles* long, it can be as sharp as you want it to be.

*The distance from Imperial Beach, Ca., to Lake Whitney, Tx.

I would think the world record for a javelin throw is less than 1400 miles...wouldn't you? 8-)
