He also said the conviction would be vacated on first appeal. This may be a good thing; it could open doors for DeSantis, who I planned on supporting in the primary. I think if DeSantis is elected president the Liberal Hanky Stompers will wish to God they still had Trump to deal with.

nwtk2007, I just don't see that. I can make a good case for the exact opposite. No judge or juror wants to get death threats to their families because they found Trump guilty.

Liberty Tree, Thats because so much of the Republican Party express n**i views. This constant attack on George Soros is an example. He is demonized by far right including calling him a n**i. At first, I didn't know who Soros is. I checked him out, and it turns out that he is a philanthropist, that donates millions of dollars every year to support various charities, and progressive organizations all over the world, especially Hungary, the country of his birth. He is an easy target being Jewish. When I read some of the things that Trump says, and does,( like accusing the DA that is prosecuting the case against Trump an animal, a r****t, as well as calling for a different judge because they have proof that he donated a very small amount to Biden's e******n campaign).
The sooner the Republican Party dumps Trump, and those politicians that were owned by him, the sooner they will start winning e******ns again.

if they get a conviction it will be because he is Guilty as Charged. I would expect to see more indictments coming

Yet it is going to be very hard to keep MAGA trump supporting jurors off the jury, and while it is okay to be a trump supporter, it is not okay to make up your mind that he did nothing and acquit him with a jury hung up with one or two like minded supporters that believe this is all a political witch hunt.

Trump is not being persecuted because of h**e, he is being prosecuted for much the same crimes as Cohen was, yet nobody on the right accused the trump DOJ of going after Cohen, did they?

He is being prosecuted because he has no regard for the law...
