Perhaps it's something we can All Agree Upon. A v***l consensus would be a nice initiative. Can you help "Weed the Unpleasant, Corruption in America's Garden? " The "One Term" political Solution, may beautifully restore it's Splendor. How; pull the ugly destructive Weeds. "V**e Incumbents OUT!" Thank You.

Every time term limits are imposed it creates a revolving door that moves term limited politicians into big money jobs working for the lobbiests they served while in office. If you are in your last term in a term limited office who exactly are you beholden to? not the v**ers because you can't be reelected. Term limits have failed to make government any better and have instead added to the system being for sale to the highest bidder.

That sucks and I'll take your word for it. How about making lobbiests illegal and imposeing long prison terms at hard labor to those caught buying a politician and politicians accepting. just an Idea What if electing officials became obsolete and our leaders of national offices were picked at random to serve kinda like being drafted. Say several are interviewed for the job and the best and brightest gets chosen. Just an Idea. Gotta stop money from being the motivation and corrupter.

A one time 4 year term, for all. All elected bring their best "game" to the process for notice, and for a possible, P**********l run, based on citizen v**es. To stagger departure, half the senators, finish their term and leave every 2 years along with half of the non-senators. 25 openings for new senators every 2 years, along with openings for half of the non-senators. Every Attorney General ELECTED every 2 years. Only pension compensation is 30% more Social Security, but only after reaching retirement age, for having served. Enough for now, plenty more later. Our Garden requires weeding. Kindly remember to: "V**e Incumbents OUT!" Thank You.

You want a better congress I do too. They seem to do nothing but argue over who is the boss despite the fact WE citizens are the boss. Lobbists should be out-lawed. Politicians taking money and favors from lobbiests need to make little rocks out of big rocks till they are too old to hurt anybody.

It says in the Constitution we have a right to change our Gov. if we are not happy with it . No time like the present . The powers in Wash. only have the authority allowed in the 10th Amend. of the Constitution .They seem to forget that they are----- 10 sq. miles surrounded by Reality and we the people who they work for . We may soon have to shed some Blood and remind them of that fact . Amen

What term limits? Representatives and Senators have no term limits I'm aware of.

The longer they're in Washington, the better connected they get.
