AINT THIS SOME BULL S**T!!

Obama Overrides Congress to Buy $690 Million Worth of Russian Choppers for Afghan Air Force

April 10th, 2013

Something stinks in Denmark. Apparently America has too many jobs so Obama will be spending taxpayer money to support Russia’s defense industry on behalf of Afghanistan. And he’s doing so over the bipartisan objections of Congress from both the right and left and a ban on buying them written into the NDAA.
The US Department of Defense said Thursday it plans to sidestep a Congressional ban to purchase 30 helicopters from Russian state-owned defense firm Rosoboronexport, despite objections from US lawmakers who allege that the firm has equipped the Syrian government to commit brutal crimes against civilians. Another article related: http://en.rian.ru/military_news/20130405/180451358.html

Barack Obama is going to spend almost $700 million dollars of taxpayer money to buy Russian helicopters for the Afghan Air Force.

But wait. Just like those TV commercials, this gets better. When Congress passed the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act, it had an interesting provision. Congress included, as a part of that law a prohibition on the United States buying helicopters from Rosoboronexport, the Russian manufacturer of the Mi-17 helicopter.

Unfortunately as always happens, when such laws are passed, Congress always gives the Regime an escape hatch. The law stated that Obama could buy from Rosoboronexport if the Secretary of Defense certified it was in the interest of National Security. And of course, the Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, a man committed to destroying the US military immediately signed off on that certification. Where do we even start with this one?

Congress is outraged over this with Senators and Representatives from both parties writing letters about this. Of course, this is Congress' fault for allowing a law to be written with such an escape hatch.

More importantly, Americans need to be asking just what the hell the Obama Regime is doing? Why are we spending $700 million dollars with a Russian arms manufacturer? Why are we even giving the Afghans these helicopters?

If we are going to give them helicopters, which we really shouldn't, then why not give them American made helicopters and put Americans to work?

Even if we are going to give the Afghans Russian helicopters, the ones we are giving them are an old Cold War design. There are hundreds of used MI-17 helicopters floating around the world. Why are we paying to give the Afghans brand new helicopters?

In the era of the Sequester, isn't there something better we can do with $700 million? American Medicare cancer patients are being turned away from hospitals and are being denied lifesaving treatment because of budget cuts. The American military is being gutted to the point of ineffective
ness because of budget cuts.

Or consider this. The United States Air Force is grounding 17 squadrons because of $591 million dollars in budget cuts. Our Air Force is not able to do its mission because it lacks the money to fly but we have the money to give Afghanistan $700 million dollars in Russian helicopters.

And this is where Barack Obama thinks we should spend our money?

Most people reading this story will not have heard about it. Why?

Because the Obama Propaganda Media is moving in lock step to make sure there is no bad news that might damage Obama's presidency.

This is a story that should damage him and outrage every American.

Ask your Senator or Congressman why this outrage is being allowed and take a moment to share this story with your friends.

The only way we will ever stop Obama is if the American people know what he is doing.

I am very curious as to how irondoor will manage to reconcile this one to his Obama worship, and constant bashing of white people, conservatives, (All of us obviously KKK, of course). Of course, it will somehow be all Bush's fault, since his idol is incapable of wrongdoing.

How much creditability does I Won have left after this week? He is about to have to cut down on Rep. Cummings from what he said today. I think he and his AG are about to bury themselves.

Does our Congress have the guts and the integrity to refuse to fund this travesty? I say it doesn't. It will fund the purchase. Do the American people have the guts to refuse to pay taxes for such a travesty? I say we don't - we will pay our taxes like good little robots. We'll moan and groan, but we will NOT refuse to pay taxes. In my view we SHOULD have quit paying taxes when Obamacare was shoved down our throats. Yes, many of us may have had all our belongings confiscated, and yes, many of us may have landed in jail. Guess what??? Many of our soldiers wind up DEAD, wounded, tortured. They don't get a pass - we civilians shouldn't either. Things have gotten this bad because we belly-ached, but ALLOWED Obama to do all the harm he has done. He sees no reason to reign himself in now, for crying out loud. He has whipped us - so he thinks, and so I am beginning to think.

Like typical TOOLs of the left like irondoor their messiah of progressive f*****m can do no wrong.

He can murder a child and he will still be seen as innocent and those dastardly obstructionist right-wingers trying to make him look bad. D********g.

I wouldn't waste another breath on him if he continues to be a progressive f**g waving TOOL he is.

As I mentioned earlier, refutation of his asinine comments is pointless. Despite my earlier skepticism, there IS such a thing as invincible ignorance. I have instead decided to publicly "grade his paper" for spelling, grammar and punctuation, since his fourth grade teacher obviously did not. As I also mentioned, I will even give a "smiley face" in the unlikely occurrence of a passing grade.

While I do appreciate you and Auntie's attention to liberal literacy...or the lack thereof it does benefit our side of the debate if one provides the facts rather than criticize a few minor grammar mishaps. That’s a liberal tactic. If they cannot have anything factual to provide they reduce their creditability with name calling and trivial posting mishaps. Don’t be like them.

Even with invincible ignorance at play here it does benefit us, as 49%-ers, to make sure we have the proper munitions (i.e. facts and logical standpoints) to legitimize our arguments. Sometimes we have to pick our battles and other times we have to drop the hammer on witless TOOLS such as irondouche here.

I hope that’s a fair assessment.

These "minor" grammatical mistakes are not minor, nor are they infrequent, but your comment has merit. I see no reason I cannot combine the two.
