Why is it that many people seem to have missed history or civics classes in High School? After the Civil War, every former s***e had the choice of going back to Africa or getting 30 acres of land and a mule as r********ns. Those that chose to go back to Africa formed the country of Liberia. Those that stayed took their 30 acres and a Mule and farmed it or sold it and spent the money as they wanted too.
