On Monday, a 28-year-old woman who identifies as a male walked into a Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee, with two rifles and a gun, and proceeded to k**l 6 people - 3 nine-year old girls and 3 teachers/administrators.
Predictably, many people on the left automatically blamed the guns for the shooting, and are calling for stricter gun control laws to stop these tragedies. Likewise, the people on the right are defending the right to bear arms, and claim that if there were better security at schools, these tragic events would stop happening. Very few people who are exploiting this tragedy to advocate for their political positions, actually care about the people who died. The ones who are screaming the loudest, usually care the least. They get so caught up in their ideology after a tragedy like this that they cannot see their own hypocrisy. One of the major concerns in the mainstream media was making sure that they correctly identified the g****r of the person who just murdered 6 people, as if that was the real tragedy here.
