Bogus claim. Anyone with a modicum of common sense knows this was simply a partial rebound from the jobs lost secondary to the p******c shutdown.

FACTS: Birdwatch fact-checkers part of Twitter's expanding Community Notes feature "added context" to yet another misleading White House tweet, countering that the U.S. lost more than 20 million jobs between mid-March 2020 and mid-April 2020 due to the government-mandated c****av***s shutdowns. So, in reality, it's simply adding those jobs back. Twitter users pointed out that many Americans have decided to give up on government handouts and head back to work after months of "p******c vacation."

Fact check: Biden makes misleading claim about job-creation estimate
Facts First: Biden’s remarks were misleading – because he created the impression that Moody’s Analytics projected a much bigger jobs impact from his two new bills than Moody’s actually did. Contrary to Biden’s suggestion, Moody’s did not find that the passage of the two bills would produce an additional 2 million jobs in each successive year. In other words, Moody’s did not find that in 10 years, the economy would have 20 million extra jobs because of Biden’s bills. Rather, Moody’s found that in 10 years, the economy would have 2.2 million more jobs if the bipartisan infrastructure bill and a $3.5 trillion spending package were passed than it would if they were not passed.

A White House official explained to CNN that Biden was referring not to an additive figure but to an average figure – the fact that Moody’s found that, between 2022 and 2031, the average level of nonfarm employment would be nearly 2 million jobs higher if the bills were passed than it would be otherwise. Presented with this White House explanation, Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi, said it was a valid way to assess the impact of economic legislation.

But Zandi still took issue with Biden’s own comments – saying they were likely to leave Americans with an inaccurate impression of what Moody’s found. In fact, until he was sent the White House explanation, Zandi – who co-authored the July report Biden was citing – himself did not understand Biden’s assertions about the report’s findings.

Zandi said of Biden’s words: “I would say they were incomplete. Or not well explained.”

This is the second Moody’s report this year that Biden has described misleadingly.

We say: President Biden’s lies about jobs never end.

The t***h? Most of his “created” jobs merely replaced those lost during C***D. In January 2020, per Federal Reserve data, there were 152 million non-farm US employees. Last month, just 153 million. If he’d kept up with other presidents, there’d be millions more.

Point 1 What were the numbers when Biden took office and what were they "at that point in his presidency" - January 2021 to February 2023. The difference was 12.1 million which is the greatest number of jobs created during the first 2 years of any prior president.

I could not care less what Zandi has dreamed up. He's making an evaluation based on his information. Biden is making an evaluation based on his information. Biden has more information.

The problem with your closing statement regardless of how you want to justify or to somehow want to change the perception of numbers they still don't lie. What president oversaw a gain in employment of 12.1 million in his first two years other than Joe Biden.

That list is a steaming hot pile of Obama.

" Most job creation in history. " That was simply a function of coming out of the c***d lockdowns. But you know this.

" Biggest single year drop in unemployment " That was simply a function of coming out of the c***d lockdowns. But you know this.

" Most significant economic legislation in 1st year in history " That is why we have the most significant inflation in 40 years.

" Lowest Child poverty " Prove it !!!!

" Added 5M to the rolls of those with health insurance " Hip hip hooray.

" Confirmed most judges in single year since Kennedy
Confirmed more minority judges in history " So ?

" Largest investment in clean water and alternative energy in history " Did we get more clean water ? Why the frack is energy so expensive ????????????????????????????????

" Most diverse cabinet ever " Identity politics over competence is nothing to brag about. Sam Brinton was the T*********r deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition at Biden's DOE. He was caught stealing luggage at airports. Then there is T***sportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. The first openly gay guy to be that. Biden appointed him for diversity, even though he had no experience or expertise in t***sportation, and he sure as heck is not learning very well on the job. A couple of train derailments and the FAA airport system failure were not handled well.

" Forgave huge amounts of student debt held by the government " Even Democrats admitted Biden doesn't have the authority to do that. And why should taxpayers pay the debts of students, which were run up because colleges jacked up tuition and will now jack it up even more ????????????????????????

Go sling your horse manure where the stupid people live, in blue states.

You obviously failed to read what I posted.

Essentially this: those jobs weren’t “created” - they were simply the jobs that were resurrected from the C***D shutdown. Common sense would dictate that.

Biden’s number is accurate: the US economy added 12.1 million jobs between Biden’s first full month in office, February 2021, and January 2023. That number is higher than the number of jobs added in any previous four-year p**********l term. The circumstances under which he took office were highly unusual, however. Other than the total incompetence of the previous administration, the p******c left many employers scrambling for employees once competence in the White House was renewed.

Unemployment Rate: The unemployment rate dropped from 6.2% when Biden took office to 3.9%, the biggest single year drop in American history.

Unemployment Claims: The average number of Americans filing for unemployment has been near its lowest level since 1969. When the President took office, over 18 million were receiving unemployment benefits, today only 2 million are—also the biggest single year drop in history.

Show me numbers that beat these.

So when are you going to start your threatened "smack down"?
Biden’s number is accurate: the US economy added 1... (show quote)

What 12.1 million jobs were added. I know about the ones that was loss when he started shutting down pipelines, locking people down so small business couldn't remain open. OH, you're talking about the jobs people were returning to after the country was open back up to return to work. People were receiving unemployment because we weren't allowed to work "C***d Shut Downs". When people return to work, benefits drop, DUH!

Illegal executive orders? That and you are both absurd. Are you saying that the entire right wing delegation to congress sat still for illegal executive orders to be issued and enforced while only you know that they are illegal? The deluge of lies heaped on the American people came right out of the Fat Donny administration and they continue to flow unabated. Seems that you are rather fond of believing them.

You're making excuses that might make you feel better but it tells the rest of us that you are desperate and not too bright.

Your snarky comments don't bother me. Just because you are insecure and narcissistic, you think you need to have the last word. That's your problem, not mine.
The executive branch is not the legislative branch. This is all very simple to understand if you would take the time to read the Constitution.

Biden’s F*****tic EV Edict
Posted Friday, April 14, 2023 | By Outside Contributor

President Joe Biden is set to “t***sform” and “remake” the entire auto industry – “first with carrots, now with sticks” – notes the Washington Post, as if dictating the output of a major industry is within the governing purview of the executive branch. The Environmental Protection Agency is proposing draconian emissions limits for vehicles, ensuring that 67% of all new passenger cars and trucks produced within nine years will be electric. This is state coercion. It is undemocratic. We are not governed; we are managed.

In f*****t economies, a powerful centralized state – often led by a demagogue who plays on the nationalistic impulses of people – controls both manufacturing and commerce and dictates prices and wages for the “common good.” Any unpatriotic excessive profits are captured by the state. All economic activity must meet state approval. And crony, rent-seeking companies are willing participants. Now, I’m not saying we already live in a f*****t economic state. I’m just saying the Democratic Party economic platform sounds like it wishes we were.

The coverage of Biden’s edict has gone exactly as one might expect. “Biden makes huge push for electric vehicles. Is America ready?” asks Politico, for instance. The conceit of so much modern media coverage rests on the assumption that the left’s ideas are part of an inevitable societal evolution toward enlightenment. The only question remaining is when will the slaw-jawed yokels in Indiana and Texas finally catch on.

I’m sorry, EVs are not a technological advancement – or much of an environmental one – over vehicles with internal combustion engines. Most of the comforts EV makers like to brag about have been a regular feature of gas-powered cars for decades. At best, EVs are a lateral technology. And, as far as practicality, cost and comfort go, they’re a regression. If EVs are more efficient and save us money, as administration officials claim, manufacturers would not have to be compelled and bribed into producing them.

The problem for Democrats is that consumers already have perfectly useful and affordable gas-powered cars that, until recently, could be cheaply fueled and driven long distances without stopping for long periods of time. F****l f**ls – also the predominant energy source used to power electric cars – are the most efficient, affordable, portable and useful form of energy. We have a vast supply of it. In recent years, we’ve become the world’s largest oil producer. There are tens of billions of easily accessible barrels of f****l f**ls here at home and vast amounts around the world. By the time we run out, if ever, we will have invented far better ways to move vehicles than plugging an EV battery – which is made by emitting twice as many gases into the air as a traditional car engine – into an antiquated windmill.

“I want to let everybody know that this EPA is committed to protecting the health and well-being of every single person on this planet,” the EPA’s Michael Regan explained when announcing the edicts. No one is safer in an EV than a gas-powered vehicle. The authoritarian’s justification for economic control is almost always “safety.” But the entire “safety” claim is tethered to the perpetually disproven theory that our society can’t safely – and relatively cheaply – adapt to slight changes in climate. If the state can regulate “greenhouse gases” as an existential threat, it has the unfettered power to regulate virtually the entire economy. This is why politicians treat every hurricane, tornado and flood as an apocalyptic event. But in almost every quantifiable way, the climate is less dangerous to mankind now than it has ever been. And the more they try to scare us, the less people care.

So let the Chinese c*******ts worry about keeping their population “safe.” Let’s keep this one innovative, open and free.
