We need to change the law to have the Attorney General and the Director of the FBI elected by the American Piblic in the same way as the POTUS is elected. If we do this, we can hopefully break the loyalty bond that is established between the President and these executive branch appointees.
Congress needs to find a way to prevent the President from weaponizing these agencies for political purposes and force them to do their job serving the people who put them in office. This would be a big step in preventing this ongoing abuse of power.
