Why,

did Russia take Crimea?

did Russia take 25% of Georgia?

did Russia recognize the break away states in the donbas of Ukraine?

Putin has been offering his explanations for years, his "why" about those regions. The west refuses to listen.

I know, some heads will explode if too much t***h gets in!
Putin is not our enemy but neither is he our friend. He’s just currently the leader of Russia. If the allies that Biden dissed were now our enemies, we’re in trouble.

Oops. We live in a world where "why" does not matter, only our agenda versus theirs, black and white, apparent good versus apparent evil.

More war, humanities legacy to the universe.

I have heard that Putin wants to recreate the Russian borders before the colapse in 1990. So that means taking over Belorussia , Ukarainian, the Caucasian nations, Eastern Europe, Kazakastan etc.

It's out there, but, you have to look for it.

Equally worrying is that Putin’s Feb. 21 speech referred quite explicitly to restoring not the Soviet Union, which he criticized in various ways, but the Russian empire as it existed prior to 1917. That not only calls into question all of the former Soviet states, but also a large part of Poland, including Warsaw, which was part of the Russian empire. How far he intends to go is unknown, and may depend on how things go in Ukraine. But after this week’s events, Russia’s neighbors cannot simply assume that they won’t be targeted.

I have heard all of his speeches and he never ever said that. He said the break up was a great tragedy, for the Russian peoples who then became trapped behind "enemy" lines when new borders were established after generations of life under the one border, the USSR. Putin's efforts now can be seen as direct help to those trapped behind those lines.

I don’t care much for Putin or mutha Russia and really anyplace outside of America. I’ve got enough on my plate right here. That said, the end times as I understand it, has the world under the control of only 10 kings. I don’t care who they are, I’m not in charge anyway!
Bring it on!

I'd prefer there be no kings.
