Seeking guidance, from true leaders.

I am dumbstruck by the lack of true and effective leaders in our country,
The rhetoric-spouting drooling fools who occupy the most powerful positions seem bent upon destroying the fabric of our country, and seem to have little problem in not hiding the fact.
My grandfather who served proudly in WWI, was well aware that politicians were a bunch of garbage-groveling fools, whose sole intent was to promote the concerns of their backers, and no one else!
He wondered how poor people could be allowed to endure this position, when this country had so much more potential to eliminate its grip. "Why did we fight the Huns, and attempt to introduce our values upon Europe, if at the same time, we were not seeing those same values being given to all of the citizens in our own country?
Ferguson has seen an element of deleteriousness, and they are being thrown into the pit, as they seek to come to terms with the reality of their lives.
I am loathe to believe that anyone who has been trained and is a citizen of this country, would abuse thee power of this office, and simply choose to execute someone for the color of his/her skin.
Maybe Wilson was momentarily frightened enough to forget his training. (I witnessed this in combat!)
Maybe he is a r****t, who felt no reason not to pull his weapon and k**l his prey.
Maybe, Michael Brown, was actually aggressive enough, that the office had the only option available to him at the time.
One thing that is certain: Destroying a town in order to display your anger, is stupid, and it demoralizes their very humanity. Residents of Ferguson who are not participating in this action, should be aware that they will all be seen as "animals" who have no sense of decency or self-control.
I have feelings about what happened. I do not allow for my emotions to cloud my intelligence. Did Wilson get away with murder? I don't believe so. Did he (Wilson) get away with abuse of his authority? It seems more plausible.
Here though; I would like to ask: If I found myself in Wilson's position, and I was the cop; would Michael Brown be dead today?
Honestly; I would like to think that he would be; but I know that if I felt imminently in danger because of his actions: No; he would be dead. Going home after protecting the public, would be paramount on my mind.
Any cop, probably thinks the same way.
Peace to the parents and to the Wilson family. This man's family is not culpable in any crime, and their safety, as well as Darren Wilson's, should not be an issue.

You have to be kidding...did you listen to any of the evidence? It seems you, and many others here on 1PP think officer Wilson should have kept his gun holstered and just take the beating. And, then hopefully if he survives the beating, just drive away and leave the thug alone. In case you weren't listening to the evidence, the thug, with four previous felony convictions, who just conducted a strong arm robbery in a store just a few minutes before, when confronted by officer Wilson, still in his vehicle, reached in the vehicle and started beating on officer Wilson. Officer Wilson then fired his weapon twice, striking the thug Brown in the thumb. The thug Brown took off running as officer Wilson exited his vehicle to give chase. Then the thug Brown turned and charged officer Wilson who fired his weapon hitting the thug Brown several times. Thug Brown stops, and then puts his head down and charges officer Wilson once again, and justifiably so officer Wilson fired the fatal bullets, hitting the thug Brown in the chest and head. Now, I suppose you think that officer Wilson should have just stood there, with a holstered gun, and let the 295lb thug Brown bowl him over and beat the daylights out of him...that would have satisfied you, and your ilk? You're pathetic.
