After NYC Mayor Adams Goes After Ron DeSantis – His Own Residents Flip the Script on Him

What’s Happening:
If Democrats fear anyone more than Donald Trump, it’s Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Trump is a former president, yes. But he lost his re-e******n bid. DeSantis? He won re-e******n by a staggering 1 million v**es. And he is making waves, suggesting a p**********l bid is just around the corner.

DeSantis just started a national pro-police tour, which will raise his profile across America. His first stop was at the conservative section of a deeply-liberal city. The mayor, a former police captain, was probably embarrassed that a Republican had to show up to teach his city how to enforce the law. So, he tried to attack DeSantis. Let’s just say… it didn’t work out so well.

From Daily Wire:

“Welcome to NYC, @GovRonDeSantis , a place where we don’t ban books, discriminate against our L***Q+ neighbors, use asylum seekers as props, or let the government stand between a woman and health care,” Adams tweeted. “We’re happy to teach you something about values while you’re here.”

The sarcastic welcome from Adams, whose city saw major crimes increase by 22% in 2022 compared to 2021, prompted a blistering backlash on Twitter, where many commenters noted the exodus from the Big Apple often ends in Florida.

Lol, ouch. Users were quick to point out that, while New York might be “pro-L**T” and doesn’t “ban books” (wh**ever that means), it has seen a massive surge in major crimes since Adams took office. People humiliated Adams by pointing out that tens of thousands of New Yorkers have fled the city in recent years.

Where did they go? Oh, that’s right, to Florida!

How ironic is that? Perhaps that’s why DeSantis went to NYC, to perhaps help the city figure out how to better govern itself. Obviously, he knows something Adams and the l*****ts in NY don’t. Such as, how to keep criminals in jail, how to protect residents’ Second Amendment rights, and how to not drive up the cost of living.

There are many reasons New Yorkers are fleeing en masse. They are sick and tired of how Democrats like Adams are running the city. Crime is out of control, taxes are getting higher, and the costs of living are out of control.

And, soon enough, New York plans on banning f****l f**ls–which will drive up costs even more.

Hmm… maybe Adams should think twice before he attacks a man who is actually leading.

***** Key Takeaways:
Mayor Adams attacked Gov. DeSantis during his visit to New York.
Residents pointed out NYC is suffering from rising crime.
They also showed how most fleeing New Yorkers are going to Florida.

LOL

Because there was 2 months where it decreased does not negate that it went up for the year.

Hint: There are 12 months in a year......

>>>You're trying to criticize another poster and then write like a grade school kid. My spell checker came up with, coaimed, acording, and Goid. And as for the crime rate, I'm still trying to figure out what 8n 2022 and 9f 2022 mean.

You failed. Try again and in English next time.

How could it possibly go from this to your claim?
Overall crime in NYC is up 23.5% this year, but shootings and homicides are down, NYPD says
By Laura Ly, CNN
December 21, 2022
New York Police Department data shows that since January, NYC has seen an over 17% drop in shootings and an over 12% decrease in homicides. However, an NYPD crime statistics report also notes that as of December 18, overall crime this year in major categories (including murder, rape, robbery, assault, burglary, and grand theft) has increased by 23.5% since last year.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK- APRIL 13, 2022: Union Square subway station on Wednesday. Extra police officers were added to subway platforms across the city following the shooting in Brooklyn. Crime on New York City Subways is on the rise.
New Yorkers do not feel safe at home.
“Public safety is the foundation of the city … it’s the prerequisite of prosperity,” Adams said at a news conference at City Hall on Wednesday. “My top priority will always be improving the safety of the city. Everything else will be built on (it) … New York remains the safest big city in America. In 2023, we will push this city to be safer.”

This year they also marked a 27-year-high for felony gun arrests, with the NYPD seizing nearly 7,000 firearms, according to Adams. The gun seizures include 430 ghost guns, a 73% increase from last year and the highest number in New York City history, Adams said.

Down two months out of twelve. You very carefully avoided giving the total for the year or was it your vaunted source? Rhetorical question.

Is this i***t saying: Crime went down 1%, in the last 2 months? From an outrageous number "Previously"?

Typical Demofart position of "Alice in wonderland", thinking! [ It's "Soooo, sad" being DEMONCRAT, & NOT KNOWING WHICH WAY IS "up"?...

Ever seen a boats hull in sea water attacked by sea worms?
I have. I grew up around boats.
It takes Red lead paint to keep them from eating the hull.
