The hospitals aren't talking, so I will. I just talked to a funeral home used by UCSF. The funeral home's rates of perinatal deaths were up over 20X above normal in H2 2022.
Perinatal deaths are defined as fetal deaths (deaths after 20 weeks) and infant deaths (deaths after giving birth). These deaths are typically sent to a funeral home.

My perception is the topic is the 1 to 4 weeks after birth. A village in Scotland had all babies die within three to four weeks after birth. In all instances the mother had been v******ted.
