Had this encounter with an 80-year-old l*****t recently that goes by "slatten49".

As you've likely seen from his numerous "enlightening" posts, this guy / girl is famous for using quotes of other people to supposedly "make his point".

Anyway, this discussion was about supporting A******N, also known as premeditated baby murder by those of us that are able to see clearly.
Everyone knows what A******N is and WHO supports it.

Right after "accidentally" praising a quote from another OPP regular that illustrated the "sanctity of life", this guy / girl writes:

"I remain firmly pro-choice."

He / she apparently forgot what he /she just praised literally minutes earlier and thought this all-encompassing one liner will "clean it up".

When confronted with this glaring contradiction, he spews the biggest contradiction YET:

"Pro-choice is not pro-a******n. It simply allows women choices for their reproductive health."

As we ALL know, the term "Pro-Choice" is simply another way to say "A******n" in a more cosmetic manner, like calling I*****l A***ns, "Undocumented".

So when this guy / girl gets confronted AGAIN, he / she streams a rant of copied babble that essentially BLAMES people like me (who challenge the morality of a******n) with:

"You believe your views are better than others because of your perceived righteousness."

Can you even IMAGINE dreaming up this "DEFENSE"?

Then, like a typical Lib, writes:
"I am done with this topic."
Only to slither away into another thread that won't challenge him / her.

Anyway, I wanted to share this with you folks since I sometimes can't even believe what some of these people write with apparent "sincerity", aka "hypocrisy".

Almost all of the time he/she just posts the thoughts of someone else. He/she claims to be center/left but is as left as anyone on OPP. He/she always tries to spin their way around it.

You will not find a better man than slatten, I can assure he doesn't run from any topic due to anything other than it will become confrontational in nature and will retreat in lieu of name calling and getting s**tty.

I'm pro life... yet I don't attack people that are not, slatt IMO is pro life in his personal life but doesn't take that choice from others as it's theirs to make under the law.

Engage him and make your point.... he will agree or agree to disagree and take you fishing..... the end.

He's a good man, you won't find one and more solid than slatt..... salt of the earth.

I stand behind the man's character, his politics suck doesn't change the man and his values.

I have often wished that OPP had some feature where you could search the past comments of every poster quickly to bring up various things they have posted that contradict something they were presently posting. I have caught one particular poster one time, but it is a lot of work. He absolutely denied something he said in the past, and I had to go to a lot of trouble to look for it. I did prove he said what he denied.

I know he and others do this sort of thing a lot, but proving it is nearly impossible, there is too much material to search. All of us are likely guilty of minor contradictions, but some folks are quite blatant because they know proving it is so hard.

I disagree based on my experience.

He / she is surely PRO-DEATH and is proud of it.
He / she sides with broken brain boob 100% of the time and that's all you really need to know.

I can't respect that at all.

And he /she has an annoying knack of continuously publishing quotes that he / she pretends to be his / hers, the implication being that he / she is somehow "all knowing".

This guy / girl rubs me the wrong way with his / her self righteous indignation.

I have to agree with that diagnosis.

One of his tricks is to issue "mild false praise" to other viewpoints so that the people he sucks up to don't hammer him too badly when he veers off the track with his ultra-Lefty beliefs.

You have that right to disagree, same as I do telling you you're wrong.

Slatt uses quotes as they do have profound meaning and are timeless...... he not a liar and I highly doubt he is claiming them as his own... not calling you a liar, me thinks you misunderstood his intent.

Don't compare slatt to bob.... apples and assholes comparison.

My experience with him since 2015 and meeting him several times for 2 andb3 hour lunches over the years I can absolutely attest to his qualities.

Don't let politics cloud your decisions on the man's character...... he and I never discussed politics, that is not what defines us in claiming a team color wheather it be blue or red.

In short the man deserves respect and has mine, and would track down and kick the s**t out of anyone that brought him physical harm..... because I know deep down if I needed his help he would do anything he could.

He is my friend.

No, way off base...... again. You're letting political views make your decisions on his character. .... remove politics and get to know the man..... like I did, I'm better for it.
