Welcome to OPP. People here tend to get worked up and tempers flare sometimes, which beats the apathy infecting far too many people who should be casting informed v**es. I'll take pissed off over complacent any day.

For the longest time, back during the days of the Soviet Union, C*******ts always referred to themselves as "Progressive elements." Glad to see ya'll grew out of that. Liberalism as promulgated by John Locke is hardly what is happening today. Locke emphasized as little government as possible and a lassez-faire marketplace; the antithesis of modern day Liberalism and Progressivism. Locke's Liberalism emphasized equal opportunity while today's Liberal/Progressive emphasizes equal outcome regardless of contribution.
