I have heard this crap since the sixties, Venice under water by the 90s, all Antarctica ice melting, the hole in the Ozone layer getting bigger, Glacier National park glacier gone by 2017, on and on, just to name a few lies by these stupid alarmists. As long as people can get flood insurance, building in flood prone areas will happen. If you don't like it, tell your boy Brandon to executive order that no more flood insurance can be issued within a mile of the ocean. He can do it. He has shone he can order anything.

In the olden days only rich and very poor people built in coastal areas. The poor might get 10 years before they were wiped out and who cared about them anyway. The rich were rich enough to rebuild. Now thanks to flood insurance, why not build along the coasts ?

Sea leval rise is slow so far. It's going at 0.14 an inch a year. So that means that since 1980, about 5 inches. Doesn't seem like much, but if you are a foot above sea level, its a lot, espically at a lunar high tide.

I grew up in Ventura County, CA. and as a child I used to hike into the foothills above my home and search for fossils, I still have two. What are they you ask? Perfectly imprinted fish skeletons. The redwood forest further up the coast from my home are 800 to 1500 years old. Fossils take 10,000 + years.

My home back then, the house is still there, overlooked the ocean. So let's see ocean levels were how high 10,000 plus years ago? The Ocean has receded for how long? Proof is proof, and yes the Ocean cycles, but it will be at least another 100,000 years before we would have an issue, maybe. Man will k**l himself long before then.

Also Peg your data is incorrect, according to NASA, between 1900 and 2022 Ocean levels have risen 7.87 inches of about 200 mm.
