Networks Balancing Their Broadcast Content Is Their Right As It Affects The Viewership That Makes Them The Most Money

You Can't Force FOX to air programming that would be such a turn off to their viewership that they lost more than they gained.

The conservative hard right only seems to apply personal or even business rights as they apply to them, there seems to be no ability to think it through (known as cognitive function or critical thinking sk**ls).

Dumping OAN or NewsMax is a network's right, there are no hard guarantees that give any entity no matter how stupid their views are a god or constitutionally given right. Let them form an agreement with FOX if they need airtime, who says Direct or HBO or whoever has to air their programming materials?

People start talking about freedom of speech rights, when this is a freedom to run a business however they want. If OAN or Newsmax was any loss to the company in terms of viewership they wouldn't even think of dropong them...but the reality is obviously that they have done their viewership demographics work and they can live with any loss of conservative viewership due to boycotts of them.

So exactly what is the violation of freedom of speech not renewing conservative programming? They gave them a shot and it didn't work...

And the bottom line was that there was a dispute about how much the contract was going to go up.

Does that include Christian bakers and crisis pregnancy centers?

They have their own separate and different issues...

crisis pregnancy centers are more like fraud and deceit than serving any real purpose besides delaying an a******n long enough to where it becomes illegal...

Frankly I think a christian baker that doesn't want a gay person's business should put a sign on their window that discloses that they operate under christian guidelines and people can go from there. Any gay person that insists on a bigoted christian making their cake is totally stupid in the first place. If a baker simply said I don't hold with gay marriage, do you really want me making your cake...would you? Or if the person simply said I'm jammed up and won't be able to make your deadline...end of subject

The subject is network broadcasting, business decisions...huge advertising money, millions of viewers affected by content.

And yes, political bias comes into the picture and no network is forced to air either advertising or shows they simply don't want to for wh**ever their reasons are, which includes whether programming fits with their viewers. It would be like FOX being forced to air Greenpeace save the whales or tree hugger programming. If FOX were forced to do that you would be defending their right to refuse wh**ever content they want, wouldn't you?

Once again you don't know what you are talking about. In at least one case the Christian Baker was TARGETED by the Gays. They specifically went after him. They knew beforehand he would not make their cake. There were plenty of other bakers who likely needed the business and would have been over joyed to make what ever the gays would have wanted.

This is why I am anti gay. I could care less what they do in their private lives. They specifically TARGET Christians and others who do not accept their behavior. They do not live and let live. They need to pour their crap down other people's throats. Whether it is Christian Bakers or trying to Gay Evangelize elementary school children.

OHHHH YEA they do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liar!! These centers provide full obstetrics care, parenting classes, infant supplies (diapers, bottles, clothing, etc.) and ongoing assistance as needed.

Frankly, I think homosexuals should stop targeting Christian businesses.

Not only that, but this concern was voiced before the SC forced homosexual marriage on this country. And homosexuals were outraged that anyone would suggest such a thing. Of course as soon as they had the weight of law behind them, they immediately targeted Christian businesses.

I guess the difference here is that the network is not taking a customer and trying to tell them what they can and can't say, they are just saying you are no longer a customer, huge difference.

Actually are you aware of the percentage of "christian businesses" that welcome gays, that do not discriminate because their money is as good as anyone else's?

And how about "christians" that have zero problems with gays, have no problem with them joining their churches?

What we have a problem with is bigotry and hatred, not christianity.

Exactly. There are plenty of so called " Christians " who will welcome gays. YOU KEEP dancing around the issue. These gays targeted the Christians. They tried to destroy them. You are fine with that, RIGHT ???????????????? Stop dodging the issue. You keep doing the Bad Bob two step.

My problem with this mentally r****ded baker was that he couldn't figure out how to turn down someone he did not want to bake a cake for...come on, simply tell them that he can't make their deadline.

Then think about the muslim baker that sees a christian cross on someone's necklace and says he refuses to bake cakes for infidel christian dogs, is that okay for a store to reject someone because of their religious beliefs?

What the heck is wrong with you ? Are the Gays like the government or the Mafia that an honest man must think up lies, so that his business is not destroyed ?

You are missing the bigger concept. These gays are acting like bullies. Who in the HELL gave them this power ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I bet it was people like YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again this is why I h**e the whole stupid Gay T*********r Jack Asses. The folks they keep attacking weren't bothering them. And people like you enable the attacks. Your reasoning is off the charts.

It's like the way you keep sweeping Biden's disasters under rug. As long as Trump is gone, Joe the I***t can destroy America, and you will keep excusing them.

What homosexuals have a problem with is the Lord God Almighty/His Holy Word, the Bible. There are no "Christians" who reject/deny the Word of God
