Pritzker Challenges DeSantis, Demands AP Courses Teach ‘Black Q***r American’ History!

Democrat Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has made a public call for high schools to offer AP Courses that teach “black q***r American” history in response to Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis rejecting similar courses.

A typical day in a liberal-governed state, eh?

Last week, DeSantis denied a high school Advance Placement course for African American studies, which was described as “inexplicably contrary to Florida law and significantly lacks educational value,” in a letter by the Florida Department of Education’s Office of Articulation.

The letter stated, “In the future, should College Board be willing to come back to the table with lawful, historically accurate content, FDOE will always be willing to reopen the discussion.”

DeSantis spokesman Bryan Griffin defended the governor’s decision during a discussion with CNN, explaining that the course “leaves large, ambiguous gaps that can be filled with additional ideological material, which we will not allow.”

So, in retaliation for Florida’s rejection, Pritzker wrote a letter to the College Board demanding that they resist DeSantis’ “political grandstanding” and allow courses that teach “back q***r American” history.

“Illinois will not stand for watering down our nation’s history. And I urge the College Board to do the same. We reject any change to AP African American Studies in order to appease extremists like the Florida Governor and his Republican allies,” the governor tweeted on Thursday with a copy of his letter.

In the past hundred years, a Democratic President beat the Great Depression, beat the Axis powers during WW11, provided many honorable, and excellent Presidents like JFK, Harry Truman, FDR, Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama, and others. They are responsible for great legislation like The Civil Rights Act, Social Security, The Affordable Health Plan, The V****g Rights Act, and so many others. The Democrats have defended democracy around the Globe in places like Formosa, Korea, and others.
Perhaps the greatest accomplishment in the last hundred years was soundly defeating Trump in the last P**********l e******n.

I didn't have insurance untill the Afordable Health Care Act. I constantly worried for five years that something would happen and I couldn't cover the inflated hospital bills that hospitals send to the uninsured. One example was if you were on Medicare, a routine examination by a gynecologist was $150 but uninsured was $350. I really belive in universal health care. No one should ever be in the position I was in.

Broken Promise #4 – You’ll Have More Access to Care

Hundreds of thousands of health care providers opted-out of Obamacare exchange plans.
Studies show that instead of going to a doctor’s office for care, people continued to use emergency rooms for non-emergencies.
Over half of the of the uninsured in 2018 were eligible for financial assistance through Medicaid or marketplace subsidies but chose not to be covered.
Access to insurance does not equate to having access to care.
Broken Promise #5 – Those With Pre-Existing Conditions Will Be Protected

Obamacare did not protect patients from bankruptcy. Research from a left-leaning organization found no evidence Obamacare reduced the proportion of bankruptcies driven by medical debt.
Obamacare did not protect patients from dying. A 2019 study found there was no reduction in mortality for those that participated in Obamacare, meaning that enrollment in Obamacare had the same impact as having other forms of coverage or no coverage at all.
