Perhaps you should read James Howard H****r and get away from CNN.
The entire area was Russian at one time. After C*******m disappeared in 1991
( some 30 yrs ago) Russia decided to unify the country and get rid of the N**i's dug in there.
Seems there were Russians that were being abused and k**led by these N**I's and the eastern part wanted to be unified with Russia now that it was no longer C*******tic.

Ukcraine is an evil,evil place and has been so for many years.
H****r and Joe Biden and no telling how many more of our elected politicians are enjoying kick backs aka money laundering.
If you were awake and watched something else but CNN you might realize what's t***spiring over there.
Last week many of the members of the Ukcraine political party have quit as they were caught taking kick backs.
Several more perished in a helicopter crash.
We keep sending taxpayer funds there that are borrowed, as America is broke and no now our 'Petrodollar' is history.
We owe $31+ Trillion dollars to the Rothschild's in City of London.
The US Dollar is no longer the world's reserve currency.
Just pray that Russia doesn't attack us with nuclear weapons.
We have left weapons in Afghanistan and keep sending them to Ukcraine.
Now our nations stockpiles are in jeopardy in our homeland.
