He should be kicked out. Real World comparison: You falsify your resume stating you have a degree from XYZ University and experience working for ACME Corporation. You get hired and 2 months later your employer learns that you falsified your education and work experience. The employer would terminate you immediacy. Why is a government job any different?

I don't believe legally they can. Apparently he has broken no laws. Should never be on a committee. His constituents should at least be howling for his resignation.
