You do realize inflation is now calculated differently than it was a number of years ago, artificially lowering the current inflationary rate. Also, the definition of recession was revised within the past few years, to once again mask the current financial crisis. The government’s game is to change definitions and rules each time they fail based on the existing rules. It’s all smoke and mirrors coupled with political theatre to entertain the masses and ensure we remain divided.

As I remember it, the last time the Republicans stoped the govermnent from paying it's bills and sent government workers home, the stock market tanked and then the Republicans finally made a deal. The economy is much shakier now. It may cause a recession.
