Vern, gun control laws certainly do control people. Gun laws are designed to eliminate guns by a number of ways, registration, confiscation, disinterest by the public because of cost, liability, and recently because of lack of components. These are just a few of the ways gun control laws work. Every country that has allowed their firearms to be taken from them has had death and destruction rain down on them or to be controlled by a dictator. England restricted ownership of firearms to the point that the US had to supply them with arms just to keep Germany from taking over their country. Now guns are few and far between. They also have a higher violent crime rate per capita than the US does. Japan did not invade the US during WW2 because they knew the cost would be to high. Watch any documentary on WW2 and the most glaring thing that stands out is the fact that no civilians had any firearms to protect themselves with and millions were slaughtered. I could go on for hours but if that is not control of people then I guess I missed the boat somewhere.

We are becoming subjects, not citizens. Our options are severely limited.
