Republicans Move To ABOLISH The IRS
(SNews) – House Republicans are preparing to v**e on a bill that would eliminate income tax and abolish the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

The House will be v****g on Republican Rep. Buddy Carter’s (R-GA) reintroduced Fair Tax Act.

The legislation seeks to reel in the IRS and remove the national income tax, as well as other taxes, and replace them with a single consumption tax.

The v**e on the bill was made as part of the deal between House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and members of the House Freedom Caucus.

In his quest for the gavel, McCarthy agreed that the House would v**e on the legislation.

“Cosponsoring this Georgia-made legislation was my first act as a Member of Congress and is, fittingly, the first bill I am introducing in the 118th Congress,” Carter said in a press release.

“Instead of adding 87,000 new agents to weaponize the IRS against small business owners and middle America, this bill will eliminate the need for the department entirely by simplifying the tax code with provisions that work for the American people and encourage growth and innovation,” Carter continued.

“Armed, unelected bureaucrats should not have more power over your paycheck than you do,” he added.

“As a former small business owner, I understand the unnecessary burden our failing income tax system has on Americans,” Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) said.

“The Fair Tax Act eliminates the tax code, replaces the income tax with a sales tax, and abolishes the abusive Internal Revenue Service.

“If enacted, this will invigorate the American taxpayer and help more Americans achieve the American Dream.”

“I support the Fair Tax because it simplifies our tax code,” Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) said.

“This t***sforms the U.S. tax code from a mandatory, progressive, and convoluted system to a fully t***sparent and unbiased system which does away with the IRS as we know it.

“It is good for our economy because it encourages work, savings, and investment.

“Thank you to my colleague Rep. Buddy Carter for leading this effort to simplify the system for American taxpayers.”

“I’m very proud to once again co-sponsor the FairTax Act,” Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) said.

“We’ve seen a continued growth of the IRS and a persistent punishment of hardworking Americans via the tax code.

“What we’re calling for is a simplified and fair code that works for all, not just some.”

“I urge my colleagues to support this commonsense legislation that fights back against the weaponization of the IRS and stops punishing those who work hard to succeed,” she added.

Specifically, the bill gets rid of the national personal and corporate income taxes and abolishes the IRS — which is slated to hire 87,000 new agents unless congressional Republicans can stop it — as well as implements a national sales tax.

Additionally, the bill gets rid of the death, gift, and payroll taxes, and would replace the current tax code with a national consumption tax.

Eleven co-signers signed onto the bill including Cammack, Duncan, Good, Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA), and House Freedom Caucus chairman Scott Perry (R-PA).

The bill illustrates the hardline stance House Republicans are taking with the Biden administration and their policies expanding the federal government, including new funding for 87,000 IRS positions.

A simple question for the supporters of this silly 'fair tax s**m', you do realize if the magas somehow get this s**m thru the HoR, it would double taxation unless the 16th amendment is repealed, since amendments cannot be altered by executive order, supreme court ruling or congress.

But the magas in congress know this, and and are just telling their followers more lies

Oh and l*****ts have never allowed any increases in taxes right?

The income tax was deemed unconstitutional at least twice.

It was never legitimately ratified. https://www.thepostemail.com/2011/09/02/was-the-income-tax-amendment-ever-ratified/

Uninformed, gullible, propagandized people like you are a worse problem in America and a greater enemy to American liberty and exceptionalism than our politicians… because people like you empower their corruption.

And I am NOT a Trump fan. And I resent you implying that all constitutional conservatives are “trump MAGA’s”. When you do that you are just exposing your gullibility!

Speaking of the uninformed and the gullible, you are the walking definition of it.

Claiming to be a 'constitutional conservative' wh**ever that means, suggests you should something about what your blather about.

Here is a link on the 16th amendment and when it was ratified, and the cases you reference failed in court,

however, I am all for a convention of states or wh**ever else the magas want to do to amend the constitution,

since it needs to be updated and revised with non-ambiguous language, and eliminate useless amendments like the 3rd, modify the 1st and 2nd and 7th.

In fact, rewrite the whole damn document to reflect the current times

You may be right, but if the 16th amendment is NOT repealed, you would two taxes to pay, since the income is in the constitution, and congress or the supremes cannot eliminate it
