I used that title because I am sure that many here will think just like that if they open the link. I need a sign like that one to warn thieves that I will use my gun if necessary.

Guns are valuable and a favorite booty for thieves in demand and easy to fence to other bad guys, the chumps who post signs like this are about as bright as someone putting up a sign saying they have furs, Rolex watches and fine silverware in their home. The vast majority of burglars wait until the homeowners are gone. This sign is an encouraging advertisement for thieves not a deterent.

**You would actually take a life over some cheap azz Walmart material bullschit...like the "hillbilly" who shot a man in the back while he was escaping with a TV set....doing serious time now.....I used to think CA gun laws were backwards but now I see why they are...the only time you are supposed to shoot someone is when your own life is endangered or they entered your house**

Lets see now, Kevyn. Would I hit them with my Rolex or try to stuff a fur up their asses? I don't think that I would do either of those things but I can squeeze the trigger knowing the damage I can do to them.

Darned nice try, lefty but you missed the point with your examples and I am not sure how they know when I am or not at home.

If I caught one carrying one of my tvs through the yard I should call 911 and hope the police arrive before he gets to his wheels? I won't wait. I may not shoot to k**l if he is running away from me but the chances of k*****g someone shooting them in the cheek are pretty small.

By watching, the sign is dumb.

I don't know where you live but in any part of the country I am aware of you are committing a felony if you shoot someone who is not posing an immediate threat to yourself or others. As much as you might want to you can not blast someone running away with your TV, well you can but you will go to prison.

Good thing you are not living in the 1800's. Anyone that stole a horse was hung! The reason was a man could not walk far enough to get back to a town and it was certain he would die.
You have little logic, if a person breaks into a old mans house and takes all of his things he needs to live and the old man can not work any more, he will die. I have a sign on my front door that says " nothing in my house is worth dying for" Only a fool would disregard it.

You better inform yourself before you go to Florida. Also you need to read about the castle doctrine's, many states have it.
If you break into my house, you will die and I will not go to jain.

You i***t, the post told us he was going to blast the guy running across his yard with a TV not in his "castle" or wh**ever they call single wides these days. Even in Florida you are committing a felony if you use deadly force against someone comitting a property crime outside not posing a threat. Armed people with such a lack of basic understanding of the law do not make very good spokesmen for unlicensed I'll trained people carrying weapons.

I am sure that you didn't bother to open the link but there was nothing in the signs or the article about a TV. I don't know what was in the packages but it is hard to determine what some people think is valuable. Those people quite plainly said that if you steal something from my house (and the porch is part of that house) you may get shot. You will be filmed and then shot. I like the part about shooting survivors again.

Maybe you need to do some studying on the "castle doctrine" so you can know what it is and how it works. You do know about the Texans who have shot people coming from neighbors' houses and got by with it, don't you? Of course, you people from Mexifornia don't reason ilke most of us do.

**That is what happened to the guy I mentioned...and to add insult to injury...this dumbazz saw someone running out of his neghbors house with the TV and shot over in their yard and hit the person...not sure if he k**led him...but still...you give a damn fool a gun and he wants to play vigilante....because they are too damn lazy to go to the police academy and become an officer....
