It is within the nature of the tyrant that he feels hobbled by a representative democracy.

This best describes BHO's use of executive order to "dictate" his laws: "If congress doesn't pass the the bills I want passed, I will do it myself."

That Congress consists of those elected by the people to represent them is inconsequential to him.

Our Constitution stipulates that Congress must meet at least once in each year. Our founders were well aware of the fact that English (and even French kings) were wont to dismiss Parliament when they would not act in their favor.

BHO, your tyrannical nature is obvious!!

You stretch the t***h to no end. First, the President has not demanded that congress pass the i*********n l*w that he wants...he has stated repeatedly that just want them to pass a law. The act of doing what the people elected them to do is inconsequential to them. Secondly, he too was elected, just as congress, but he has powers that are different than congressional powers. That includes the authority to issue Executive Orders. I know that's hard for the Obama h**ers to accept, but it's true and the issuance of EOs has been a P**********l act for many years and is nothing new. Were past Presidents who issued EOs tyrannical, or is this just another dog whistle label assigned to President Obama, for obvious reasons?

Your first point is just utterly wrong. Please listen to Mr Dips**t again.

Another Constitutionalist, 3J? Ok, so tell me this: what exactly are the powers of the president?

His words have always been" pass an immigration reform bill, place it on my desk, and I will sign it". He has never asked congress to include anything specific in an immigration reform bill, just pass the bill.....anything that addresses the issue of 11 million i*****l i*******ts living in this country.

Some P**********l powers are outlined in the Constitution, but they are not inclusive of the Constitution.

He may have said that--but you are wrong--but what he means is "pass something I want". Can't you read between the lines? Or are you just another marching moron?

Just as he has no intention of signing any Keystone bill into law. He just doesn't want it. He is intent on crushing Big Oil, or even not so big oil. It stems from his hatred, anger and resentment at colonialism, capitalism and even of Europeans. (And he considers Israel a European outpost in the Middle East.)

And THAT stems from his resentment that he was not born white; that is, he wasn't born with the same color as his mother. Ask any psychologist.

You are the moron for putting extra words into the President's statements. Now you are trying to psychoanalyze the President based on your perception of him. A good attempt at deflecting from your original post, but that doesn't work with me. Bye.

He is just another of the tyrannical narcissist's lemmings. Trying to educate him is an exercise in futility.

You didn't know I had (or in his case, still have) a personal relationship with Mr. Dips**t? Everyone else on this site knows that.

About 5 years ago, I told him: "I don't care if you're the president of the world, I'm Carol A. B------, and I said NO!".
He still follows me around.

When he wouldn't leave me alone, I started calling him Dips**t. He said that was disrespectful, so I said, Ok, I'll compromise. I'll call you Mr. Dips**t. He still won't leave me alone.

I could tell you, and the others more, and maybe I will. Because believe me, I KNOW him.

Besides that, 3J, I'm not trying to work with you. I AM trying to get others, particularly Liberals, interested in THINKING!

I have more:

You need to energize your American genes, if you have any left.

Americans never take a politician's word at face value. Especially a Liberal politician.

Read "Grandma's Lye Soap" by Robert Abernathy, a 1957 short Science Fiction story. Not so fiction now.

**He is doing what WE elected him to do, so I am fine with his job so far,d espite the hatred he has had to face**

**Righties are good for that strawman bullschit, where they include words on behalf of the other person, then argue against those poin tas if the other person actually said them...they lie and are very dishonest and underhanded to their approach to life....I guess that is why the majority of any legislation they present is to deny and take away....never to add or enhance the lives of people**

Oh, and just one more thing:

Were you born yesterday? Appears to be that you were.

"We" elected him on false pretenses, K. He didn't bother to tell us what he really wanted to do. He used veiled words. Now we're finding out.

Executive orders are NOT authority to write laws, block enforcement of existing laws, or to make the President a dictator able to rule by fiat. They are legitimate tools for the President to facilitate enforcing existing laws. They do NOT allow the President to make law, change law, or block enforcement of existing law.

Maybe you're not aware, but the Executive Branch (that's the President) does not have or share law changing powers of the Legislative (That's the Senate and House of Representatives) branch of our government. This might help you to understand: http://congressforkids.net/Constitution_threebranches.htm
