I DO resent (not you personally) the L+ vocal crowd demanding that I accept the things they do as normal and natural when it isn't. And I deeply begrudge them trying to normalize it in the eyes of children. Are they trying to 'recruit' children? They say no, but it looks like it to me.

And by the way, have you been following this thread? If so, then you know the reason for the cancelled reservation WAS indeed discrimination. Metzgers admitted it in their statement. After ACCEPTING the reservations, they waited until an hour and a half before to cancel it because they do not like the groups supposed anti L+ and supposed anti women goals. Pure political and religious discrimination.
I don't know about Virginia, but in many states this is against the law. And even if it isn't, the group has an excellent case for breach of contract. at least on the face of it.

In other words to be consistent, you must reject that Jesus turned water into wine, walked on water, raised Lazarus from the dead. I left out the most important one.
Christianity is based solely on the Resurrection of Christ 3 days after his death. That he is the actual Son of God. If you do not believe that really happened you are not a Christian, and it sounds to me that you think Jesus was a really nice guy who wrote some interesting philosophy you believe is worth following, but raised from the dead, and sitting beside God up in Heaven, waiting to welcome us one day, come on.
Either Jesus is Divine or he is not Divine. If he is not Divine, then is he like the Buddha, a mortal who attained higher consciousness ? If that is all Jesus is to you, then why don't you switch to some other Faith ?
