When I or anyone else violates the teachings of Christ and His Holy Church, it is I who am wrong, not the Church. And neither the Pope nor his peers can mandate changes to Christ's teachings nor changes to canon law.
The Holy Catholic Church is the body of Christ, not the property of the Pope.
