Regarding the Novaya Kakhovka dam, three days ago the Ukrainian army again shelled it with Himars rockets. All but one of them were shot down by Russian anti-aircraft defence. Unfortunately, the remaining rocket hit and damaged one of the dam’s sluices, raising fears that Kherson could be flooded and the floating pontoons providing the Russian army’s logistical “lifeline” destroyed.

In fact, during his meeting with the Russian Defence Minister, Sergei Shoigu, Surovikin mentioned this risk as one of the factors that led him to propose withdrawing Russian troops from Kherson and the right bank of the Dnieper. The aim was to avoid the operational encirclement of several thousand men by cutting off their supply lines.

He also said that civilian supplies to Kherson were also complicated in the current situation, and that keeping civilians in Kherson alive in good conditions had become very difficult.

@@@@Keep in mind that this is the Russian leader speaking, not the Ukraine leader. The Russian military has gone to great lengths to prevent civilian deaths. All the horror stories of barbaric acts by Russia upon civilians just doesn't jive with what the Russian military has been doing to prevent civilian casualties. Those horror stories are Ukraine propaganda specifically aimed at creating Russian h**e in the west; a h**e that ensures more funding and military aid from mainly the US and Biden.@@@@

The Russian army have been defending a dam which protects much of the city of Kherson. The Ukraine military are not hesitant to destroy it: "This difficult decision taken by Surovikin with the approval of Sergei Shoigu was made necessary by the current conditions resulting both from strategic mistakes made by some commanders at the beginning of the special operation, and by the destruction caused by the Ukrainian army, which does not care about flooding half of Kherson."

Not only the D-rats but many right wing conservatives refuse to acknowledge the fact that Russia might have a good reason to do what it is doing; Russia trying to not only protect Russian nationals caught behind the lines when the USSR broke up, but has been provoked by NATO expansion.

The west and NATO don't want an honest balance of power, they want the clear advantage to the exclusion of all else.

Nothing is ever as it seems~~~ remember; . “If our Founding Fathers wanted us to care about the rest of the world, they wouldn’t have declared their independence from it.” 🤦‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

I believe that is, to a degree, true, but it is a much smaller world now and we are capable of truly destroying ourselves. I do not like how our leaders and the rest of the West are willing to risk all of our lives like they are right now.

It is VERY clear that we do not need to fear any Russian hope to expand and conquer all of Europe and I see no reason for Ukraine to hold on to Russian people who they h**e anyway.

Much smaller world now is by intent. World domination is what the UN seeks to achieve just following the directives of the one world movement… Eliminating Third World countries which just draw on the world, stagnating its progressiveness having to act as if “ they care” is minimizing their true agenda..Be done with them and move on.. Control, greed and dominance is all any country is about and how that is achieved is irrelevant..

If we are to survive the global geopolitical t***sition, we must first accept that the era of US hegemony is over. Instead, the world is shifting to a new multi-polar order with the US and China at its centre. We need to restore and rebuild stable institutions and rules that acknowledge the changed context.. Call it evolution if you will but if we do not move forward with it we will be left behind it to parish. We are witnessing it now what more do we need? This is nothing new just being forced over the last say 30 years moreso..

How much more do we need to witness?? Not nearly enough space to give examples, show factors in place etc. but you’re not stupid either and can see it all in action buy what you just posted…
The real problem is so few actually see the reality of what is taking place nor do they care.. Obvious~~~
