Wish someone would make up their mind who is F---- up the most here. We used to have many yrs. ago have Green Card workers coming across the Southern Border working then going back . Thanks to the Unions that was stopped as they said they wanted the jobs ?? Really remember those days . I agree that first we must stop the flow of immigrants, BUT HOW ?if by some miracle we can accomplish that then what? We still got millions of Mexicans in the country. We'll need to make every dark skinned person in this country prove their birthright to be american. If their kids are born here then are they Americans? They can't stay without thier parents. It seems impossible that the government is going to round up millions of people and deport them all. I say start a program of citizenship where you can become documented and be required to pay a tax for ten years of a thousand dollars a year. No welfare or food stamps for the ten year period until you've earned your citizenship. It's not the best solution but it's a start...

jeff-simple answer-the military has to train someplace-why not on the border ? If we do not put a stop to this you will not recognize this country 20 years from now. The youth of the country will pay dearly for the "lessez faire" attitude of today's adults both in and out of government. No other country on earth is acting as stupidly as we are. Reduce welfare checks for the able bodied and let them do the work now being done by i******s. People will not work as long as they are being paid to stay home. Good Luck America !!!

I live in Southern California, Mexicans are the majority of the workforce here. It's the way it is here.they are here to stay. They are hard workers, and decent folks for the most part. And after 35 years living in Cali I can tell you Mexican food is delicious! When I was a kid we moved here from the east coast(New Hampshire) and we swore we would never eat MEXICAN FOOD ,but now we love it. The funny thing about Mexicans though is they don't eat anything but Mexican food! If Mexicans would stop speaking Spanish I would have nothing to complain about them.

And also put all the military bases along the border is the best idea I've heard and I agree 100%. California has so many bases all over the state, why not move them to the border? We ride dirt bikes in the desert where I live near 29palms marine base and if you get the edge of the base property they pick you up in a heartbeat, it's amazing how fast they detect trespassers!

It's 1800 miles long the southern border is.thats gonna be one helluva construction project. Like I said before the laborers will all be MEXICANS! And if we get rid of all the Mexicans here already who's goona pick all the crops? Who's gonna do all the gardening landscaping, ditch digging....

In 2013 the US took in more tax receipts that in any year in history. Of 3 trillion in taxes 2.3 trillion went to entitlements, SS, disability, unemployment, etc. 700 bil was allocated to general expenditures. I am not finished yet, $700 billion was spent on welfare at the state and local level. trillions more were t***sferred to the poor under various t***sfer payments such as Obuma Care, rent control, minimum wage, work hours, free Obuma phones. You say allow these poor I******s to get welfare in x # of years. What gives you the idea that there will be any welfare to give-- anyone, period. The US is in deep dodo financially and going deeper because liberals get up in the morning feeling bad because they haven't helped the poor today so they spend the whole day advocating the causes for the poor. In the evening they are feeling good because, although they didn't make any progress on their cause they tried. Tomorrow they do the same thing again. It does not matter to them that there is massive fraud and waste in the programs they advocate; that's just collateral damage that has to be expected. Liberals do these things to make themselves feel good. Yes, a mental disease. Bankruptcy is tantamount to k*****g the goose that laid the golden eggs. Over load with entitlements and the ship will capsize. It's common sense which is not part of a liberal's intelligence.
