He posts a link to a concise difficult to dispute article in Bllomberg, hardly a liberal source and because you don't like the t***h you post this lame insult. He and the article are right and true and you are clueless.
Come again? The loan program may get some money back but Solyndra is as broken as it has ever been. From the link (if you read to the bottom).
"The failure of four companies has cost about $780 million. Solyndra burned through $528 million of a $535 million loan guarantee before filing a bankruptcy plan approved in October 2012. The California-based solar manufacturer went bust pursuing an alternate photovoltaic technology that became too expensive as panel prices plunged worldwide."

We shall see who is clueless, lately it's been all liberals.
Solyndra is part of a program which has turned a profit and can no longer be used by the right wing propaganda machine!

I'm guessing they expected us Not to actually read the thing.
They consider themselves elites who always did think the American people were stupid.
Speaking of "thinking the American people are stupid" I heard they may subpoena Gruber and put him under oath. Heh!
What are the max penalties for perjury? Is it still 20 years?
Good post. Solar energy is always there. I have often thought of electricity as a commodity every body needs. Solar power has a future in our energy needs. It does not keep fish from migrating .I doesn't
need a smoke stack or a safe place for spent fuel rods. Solyndra is just the beggining

Actually it does need a smoke stack. You need to mine minerals and refine them to make the solar cells. It generates quite a bit of hazardous waste as mining and refining operations tend to do. No one wants to look at that. Heh.
Right now solar power is not cost effective.
Some day it will be, but that day isn't here yet.
Personally I like solar power and hope it's cost effective soon.
We need to look for new ways to generate electricity. The old ways are doing just fine and improveing. All sources of energy are important

While Solar may one day be an important energy source, right now it just isn't. But the biggest problem is the government picking and choosing winners and losers, with taxpayer money. If left to the private sector solar just might be a good thing, the sorry way this company bled the tax payer is just plain wrong And you are right Solyndra was just the beggining there were at least 5 or 6 other solar companies that went bankrupt with the taxpayer picking up the tab, while Obama's cronies walked off with millions
