Larai..... why I dispise the lump called trump..

I can not say I h**e him.. H**e is a very harmful emotion.. been there, done that. so I do not h**e the useless blob of evil called trump..

What did he do to me.. let me see, where to start... in the 2017 tax gift to himself and the very rich, tucked into paragraph not even mentioned.. he had a line which removed my existing supplemental insurance .. it took a number of months to find a replacement which met my needs and even this is falling short..

Also in that same gift box.. capping the deduction on local taxes and expenses cost my 1000s of $$$. can not judge the exact amount. I had a couple of one time special situations which prevented any comparison.. but based on the past few years and without the special expenses it was notable..

And this tax gift is so lopsided and punishes the middle class over time as the temporary tax deductions age off. Some friends will be suffering..

But that is not the start of my dispising him.. that goes back to the 1980s. I was on jury duty for an assault case etc became much more tv plot like as time whent by..

But to the point.. as I sat watching time crawl by, read anything I could find.. a Readers Digest contained a story on this NYC rich guy and reading it I found his name.. Don Trump.. Looking back he must of controlled the writing of it himself.. he gloated over the NY real estate he owned and praised himself beyond shame.. made no mention that his fortune came from dad.. he declared among a host of other inflated bragging, that he could see money making strategies no one else could see, that if he wanted to one day he could own all of Manhattan and any other area that appealed to him.. the level of bragging and shamelessly blowing his own horn made any normal person shudder.. and of course none of it came to pass.. then some time later I was at a bucketball playoff at Mpls target center, and low and behold the jerk was also attending.. with several other people.. while I cooled my heels, his little group was about 20 feet away,, not in earshot but nearly so.. while his companions talked or tried to, he would pass his attention to anything but them, shout an interruption at them at any moments and generally treated them as add on decorations.. then he walked off without indicating the time to move had come..

His demonstration , both in print and body language made it clear he had not respect, consideration nor care for anyone or thing but himself.. a true blemish upon the land.. from that time in the 80s and later in Mpls,,, I judged him to be the sludge he has proven to be..

4 years of his destruction has only deepened my opinion of his coming from the shallow end of the gene pool.

I have not a single doubt about my very low opinion of him.. and will never change it..

And if nothing else, his attack on our capital and intent to murder will never be forgotten let alone forgiven..

Wow, I had just the opposite experience under Trump. My insurance went down almost 300 a month and I was keeping saving an addictional 4000 in yearly taxes. Under Biden everything is more. More for gas, more for heating, more for food, more for lumber, more for services like, plumbing, ac and lawn care. More work hours (took on work at 2nd facility). Tell me Permi, did you have to get a 2nd job under Trump? Could you afford food, fuel and Healthcare? Were you one of the people in a position to lose a little without having to up your retirement for 3 additional years?

I have not worked from 2003 I think it was.. I fell off a ladder and into retirement. my taxes under trump were because he put a limit on the amount local taxes and expense could be deducted.. no more then 10,000 $$$$

As for you tax increase.. it is written into the 2017 tax law.. and will go up more in 2023 and end your deductions in 2025.. as your dem congress person to do something about that..

Of all those price increases you mention the one that got my attention was for Lumber.. wow.. a few other things but on food I suppose I lucked out.. my little girl has food biz and we get the cast offs such as eggs.... also the stuff that is left over, bread and other concoctions that would amaze most people... not always in a good way but mostly very good.. She specializes in eastern European food and has very strong following.. but once in a while the product just misses what this good nordic can handle.

As for inflation.... while the newest information shows it was down just a little bit, I feel it willl not go down the previous prices except maybe just a few.. if you say the interview about a week or so ago with the CEO of Walmart America, you would bet on that also. He said, I paraphrase.. the people still have money and they still will buy, so prices at Walmart are not coming down any time soon..

Yes it is easy to blaime Biden and Dems for the inflation, but it was predicted that the return after the p******c shut down would be a time of inflation and big biz was happy to make it true..

I'm sorry Perma that you've had such a rough 4 years before O'Biden.. But I rather enjoyed Low energy bills, $2.00 a gallon of gasoline.. Food affordable.. I'm sorry that you may wind up having another few years of Low gas prices again, etc.., when we get rid of the swamp creatures.. The Pendulum ALWAYS swings back the other way! & Karma Is a B***h! & her puppies have teeth!.. I'm not saying I worship Trump.. In fact I'm pretty sure I mentioned in the post you were replying to, that at times he makes me a little nuts with some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth..but I v**ed for him because he WASN'T a politician.. and as much as you h**e his bravado and machismo.. he was/is a Brilliant Business man.. I have been very comfortable from the 90s and remain so.... we all would enjoy low prices.. will biz let it happen? don't bet on it. the times of trump which you enjoyed so much came from the efforts of President Obama rebuilding after the Bush recession.. by the way, the controls Obama put on the money lending industry were removed by trump and are part of the reason for inflation now.. but much else is also..

I do not agree with the idea govt should be run as a biz... biz works only for the bottom line, promotes a single group of products or service with the focus on the bottom line.. Government should not have a bottom line rather they should have a budget to meet.. and as a biz man trump failed nearly as much as he failed as a president..

I've been retired disabled since 2008.. sadly, my hubby was retired disabled the year before me.. Both of us had a decent job, good pay etc.. the the speculators on ALL news channels were talking about the "housing bubble bursting" my hubby and I had our mortgage with what I fondly refer to as S**tty Bank.. we were trying to get a modified loan, and in on that predatory lending that some banks were doing.. got a form letter back from the Obummer admin saying we missed the deadline by 2 weeks.. this is around the same time that the IRS was going after conservative groups, so I can only assume that us being "too late" had more to do with our political standing rather than actually being late to the party as it were.. and I meant that gov't should be run like a Business when it comes to the budget.. that seemed like a no brainer, unless it needs to be explained further.. but these fools On BOTH sides of the isle are ALL fulla s**t when it comes to the budget and the pet projects that Both sides have.. But still I enjoyed the lower cost of living, that so Drastically changed when Biden took office! The economy had a "V" in recovery after c***d.. when businesses started reopening.. I'm also a little bit tired of sending OUR tax payer dollars to other countries when we are hurting so bad in our own, and that old adage of "you can't expect to help others til you can help yourself" well we need to concentrate on OUR Country!.. I have NEVER trusted Biden..NOT once! in his 47 years in politics.. He's dangerous and his son's ties to china is also very dangerous to this country.. But I'm probably pissin in the wind with this explanation... I consider myself as a conservative, NOT to be confused with the GOP.. More of a constitutional conservative.. There may well be a good and bad in Both parties! Who knows anymore!
