Today is the day we remember those who served and defended the Constitution. Don't forget. Most of us don't give a damn about this "thank you for your service" stuff most of the time, but it would be nice to hear it today, anyway.
Smedley.

Today is also General George Patton's birthday.
He'd be 137 years old.

Just thought I'd throw that in.

There are a lot of folks who don't even know that today has it's origin in WWI, when the Armistice was declared. The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month when hostilities ceased on the Western Front in 1918.

As a veteran myself (1969-1982), on this day I honor another group of veterans.

The picture clearly depicts the cost of freedom. I thank all those who fought, those who were buried and all of their parents for their sacrifice.

My Father is in heaven and my daddy is with him! He joined the army at 17! Wounded many times! Came back from Korea with a white streak in his hair! He fought for this country and come to find out later had a cong*****l heart defect and died one week before his 41 birthday! He would have h**ed this filthy stolen government! He was a hardworking man that lived family and country! Gos bless him and all who have fought for what america was and can be again!
