Did you read the part of my post where I said I'm not debating the validity of the law? The ONLY point I am making is that they are not being allowed to v**e and to that you just agreed. And yet you want to call intellectual dishonesty. A simple fact that we both agree on is hardly dishonest.
Maybe you're having a hard time articulating your perception that I'm playing an intellectual game. Yes, I am. It's a game I wish to God more people would play... You state a very simple and obvious fact and observe how agitated people get because of the baggage in their own heads. The reason why I think this game is important is the same reason I think it's important that you challenge me on my assertions. It encourages people to *think* instead of mindlessly propagating narratives.

2. Furthermore, are you aware that roughly 7% of the population are resident aliens and that there is also an abundance of state and local laws that prohibit their participation in the e******ns, even though they are expected to abide the laws and pay taxes just like citizens are? BTW, resident aliens (green card holders) have the legal right to live and work in the U.S. (so I'm not talking about your so-called "illegal" immigrants.

As proclaimed by hundreds if not thousands of state and municipal governments... The U.S. Constitution doesn't care if the person v****g is a citizen or not. Most Americans would disagree because of the prevailing narratives but if they actually went rogue and switched their brains on, they could easily find the t***h for themselves.

When (and if) they become citizens they can v**e.
Yes, if they can afford it... and if they are willing to give up their previous citizenship, swear allegiance to our federal government and pass the civics tests AFTER waiting a number years without any legal incidents. Not that these are impenetrable barriers but they ARE all things that no one born in the USA ever had to do, just for the right to v**e. From a logical standpoint this nativist rule doesn't actually make any sense.
In any case, yes... thank you for acknowledging that resident aliens exist... So there we go... 27%
...and that makes 29%.

let me just point out that I'm not debating the validity of the laws, I am simply pointing out that regardless of reasoning the fact remains that roughly 30% of the people living in the U.S. legally, ARE disfranchised.
LOL
And? You are not making any point except that there are children and non-citizens. etc. who cannot v**e.
What other point do you think I'm trying to make?
If you remember, I was responding to PR who said... "The fact that you can V**E free and without fear IS Democracy!!!!" All I said was that it's only a fact for roughly 70% of the people living here. You already agreed with my assessment thereby confirming my only point. There *IS* no other point, other than your own trips about what you THINK I'm trying to say.

Oh, and thank you once again for giving me the chance to show that my statements are data-driven.
Indeed they are. Of course, they are rather silly points to make and not particularly pertinent to the discussion.
I wasn't responding to any discussions, I was responding to the original post. LOL - you really need to pay more attention to what people are doing before jumping all over them.
